shameless self advertising: Neither, go custom!

My Stainless version arrived last week and I'm very happy with it
I was worried as to how the shape would feel when driving compared the the standard ball shape but I needn't have as its a dream to use. Gearchanges are much more precise which is especially useful for very rapid changes where I occasionally fluffed 4th to 5th. The gearbox has never been bad but now it feels even tauter
Fitting took about 60 seconds and the new knob tightens up and lines up exactly. It is a very professional quality. It's also heavy and this makes for a nice gearchange feel. Gears snick into place very pleasantly.
All-in-all I'm very pleased with what is a 'home-made' item, albeit produced on professional equipment, as it is as good if not better than anything available elsewhere. This apart form the fact that you can have pretty much any design!
Thanks Chris, good to see it in place, glad you like it

either of bud, would obv be better for a whole new replacement, just keen to see the prices you would quote ?
Well prices may take a little bit, i've no idea how i'd make it yet

Looking very ^^^
kta, can you knock up wheel centre caps ?, could have a huge market there ?
Yeah i've been asked a few times for these, i'll look into it in more detail to see whether its possible.
Cheers bud, would be great if you could get a price ?
are you thinking a thin disc that would stick over the existing cap or the actual whole cap including a mechanism to hold it in place?

Hi Guys im still after passengerside inside door trim also radiator fan plastic housing.......
I sent you a PM choco did you not get it?

Out of intrest, how comes you need a new unit ?
my current fans don't start when they're told to, (bad, bad fans! )if i put power directly on them they don't start spinning on their own, if i flick them then they keep running although the speed isn't constant.
O i see, how did you come to notice that, well at least your getting them sorted, no warrenty on the zed ?
i noticed when the car overheated sitting in traffic in moss side in manchester (not the ideal place to have to pull over and lift the bonnet to find the expansion bottle boiling over!) no warranty its an 03 jdm. Got the new fans fitted now though, 2 day delivery from the states for a fraction of the price i was quoted from the stealers (who wanted £303 for each fan motor alone no blades or shroud! )
choco you have pm

I had a alfa 156 before my Zed, one time i disconnected the battery and the accelerator then refused to have any effect, car had to have the ecu reset by a dealer. The Zed's ECU is hopefully a lot better than the alfas but could disconnecting the battery when swopping over the new one had any effect? Maybe try the ECU reset procedure?

Have you had any offers yet?
