Anyway, you could only hijack in theory if they have not protected it through the use of WEP, WPA or WPA-PSK

or just wireless off ur next door neighbour......
Lovin it
What range do these rooters cover???
Depends on the type, model, network support etc......
But on the latest one I've just bought, I can easily hijack the neighbours unprotected wireless network, about 100m away.....
Good job I'm not that way inclined!

My phone is used for sat nav using a bluetooth GPS receiver. Can phones connect to more than one bluetooth device at a time?
No I don't think so.
You "pair" to a device using BT, so although you can pair to multiple devices, I don't think you can be actually active on more than one device at one time....... may be that some of the newer phones may be capable of handling the fact that the GPS receiver is for your Sat Nav application, whereas the handsfree kit is just for calls. But I wouldn't have thought so......
But you could be paired to both devices, then use the automatic activation of the 350z kit, then when you need to use GPS make that active?
-
I haven't got my tickets yet.......
But might do what Val's idea is. I'm Zed fest myself..... but may consider going down there on the Sat..... dunno, will have to decide yet.

I know what the plan is
Your gonna make us both mods
Yeah that's a good idea, then you can see what a pain in the ass it can be and a thankless task to boot!
(especially trying to keep you two PWQs in check......
)

Just an interesting piece of information...... The difference in cost between my car being "garaged" and on "the driveway" from an insurance point of view was a massive £15.00 per year!
Wow, whats the point?
I mean (and I clarified this with them), if I put it down as garaged and left it on the drive one night and it got nicked, then I wasn't covered!
For me, the hassle of putting the car in the garage everynight (especially when its dark & peeing it down) for £15 a year, was just not worth it.
That said, if I could easily every night, then I would. But my garage has become a storage area for everything else and all my cleaning products!
But what I'm saying, is don't assume it is going to make a big difference to your policy. I'd be tempted to ring them up and ask them to tell you the difference exactly, and the restrictions if one night you leave out etc.
May be surprising.....
(btw this was with Privilege, so not exactly a mickey mouse provider)

why did you decide to sell the T350. Really like the car when they came out.
yeah I managed to blag a test ride when they came out.....
loved it!
Just couldn't afford it!

Tim, have a look..... if you do end up going with Eclipse then let me know. I can probably quickly explain the differences between the packages and also refer you...... gets me a backhander etc
-
Tim,
I've been very happy with Eclipse for the last 5 years. http://www.eclipse.net.uk/
Great service, speed and innovative products....... I'd stay away from the big boys such as BT etc as you typically end up getting crap service.
Try looking here
They used to do a monthly review of performance for all ISPs. The top three each month for customer satisfaction, were typically Nildram, Eclipse and Zen etc....... have a look around and then you can compare the ISPs on here:
http://www.adslguide.org/isps/compare.asp
Hope it helps. Btw, you should be able to get at least 8MB download for around £17 a month...... probably cheaper, but most times the cheapest ain't the best!

Good Lord mate, that was a surprising few sentences .. It would seem to me that there is a place for most things here and that the FAQ/Guides section stands well as a useful resource to be reviewed as and when?
WRT your 'pot shots' remark; it seems to me that any such site (and this is a typical, non-unique example) is about opinions otherwise it dies on its feet.
I reckon I contribute to the positive in the main and I reserve the right to have a laugh now and then, whatever you may say
Dorian, I do not dispute for one second that the contributions that you have made to the FAQ/Guides section (amongst others) have been and will continue to be of great value to this site......
It just seemed tonight (and a few other times recently) that some of your comments seemed to be able to be intepreted to be digs or snide comments about the way the site is trying to be run etc. If this isn't the case then fine, but maybe it would be worthwhile to review some of the things that you've said recently. Maybe on re-reading them I will see where you have been having a laugh, just that they didn't come across that way in the first place and it surprised me (even only being on here for a short time)
If you do have issues, then I would have thought that considering the input and value that you have brought to the site, that you would want to see it progress in the best manner and that you would voice them to the appropriate people?
I totally agree what you say about opinions just that recently some peoples on here could be viewed to be disruptive and its frustrating and concerning considering the reasons as to why we all congregate here........

Thread tidied again.....
well keep goin and get rid of any @*!# stirring posts
This site will end up perfectly helpful AND with no soul
= same as it ever was
With respect Dorian, the whole point is to try to keep the balance right. No one wants a site just full of technical information without any fun, but its in danger of going too far the other way, a site full of random banter all the time, means that all the information becomes hard to find and use. Therefore people don't.....
If you have an issue with the way things are being handled then why don't you voice them privately to the individual in question, or even to the site admin rather than what is currently seeming like pot shots?
It that ain't you intention then fine, but that's the way that its coming across to me tonight?
-
Leave Liam alone - until the site gets busy; then dump him, like a ginger babi
What's that meant to mean Dorian??
-
Thread tidied again.....
-
obviously not
Thanks for owning up tho.... Don't want me kicking off over the mods deleting my pms
Told you before (but you don't listen!) that we can't delete or look at your PM's!

Been looking for some pics of Kevs car but can't find any. Can anyone help?
Liam, here is one of Kev's pics from Wales drive out.....
-
Pics? Where you get these from then. I wanted to put other ones rather than the plastic cr*p, but didn't want to put the Zed ones on for exactly the reason you just suffered......
-
Well thats a shame Judas......
But I guess you were looking for particular things in a car, and the S2000 will definitely feel lighter, less of a muscle car, more of a stripped out feel.
I went the other way (not directly) and came from an S2000..... I love them both, but the Coupe suits what I want..... each to their own I suppose. The world would be a boring place if we all liked exaclty the same.....
Good luck with the S2000......

Nearly, its actually that Privilege, Directline and Tesco are underwritten by the same insurers UK Insurance.
You will find that there is a slight variation between the three depending on your demographics and circumstances......
