Improve your car washing regime and you won't have to worry about swirls. Last car I had was black and I made some mistakes there, but recovered from them by doing my research and improving my technique. Once I got rid of the swirls, I didn't get them again, wash after wash. Google for Autopia, all the info you need.

You'll probably need to see the car yourself to notice the difference. Basically the original Kuro black is a 'flat' black, very deep gloss possible when looked after well like all flat blacks, but will show up every little swirl or mark on it. Ebisu black is the replacement for the MY06 - it has a mild 'pearl' finish (a very fine metallic, effectively) and aparently thicker with more laquer. The pearl effect is most noticable in direct sunlight, showing slight shade changes. You probably won't see much from a photograph unless it's taken with a macro lens probably with a tripod!

Slightly lighter than original standard & 'GT4' alloys, so not too bad. I'll have to fill them with helium to compensate

Axis Milanos all the way - I think they suit the Z perfectly. Sporty but nice curves, like the car itself. Should be ordering a set this week from the US.

Don't be hasty when buying a 350Z - now (and the next 3-6 months) is the perfect time to find a bargain as the MY06 facelift version is now available to order and starting to arrive, so the original MY03 values may drop a little (this is already evident).
