  1. Not guilty M'lord. I do use the Lancs now and again, but not at that time of the day.
  2. Another yellow............ Welcome................

For a moment, I thought the X's were marking the stone chips. He's got almost as many as me.
  4. Dave, can you tell me who you dealt with in CS, which dealer did the work ? now hanging up after nearly 40 mins being told my call in important.
  5. Thanks Mike, I've now been "on hold" for 12 mins. And I will be talking to Chris again soon.
  6. Trying to get a number for Nissan customer services / support. Sent e-mails but getting nothing back.......... I'm Having problems with my drivers seat and getting nowhere with the dealers. Whilst on the subject, does anyone know an aftermarket seat that will fit the ZED without too much modification, so It can be put back to standard at a later date. Ian.
  7. If your worried about MPG you're buying the wrong car. What will your average yearly milage be ? 15k pa 30mpg = 500 gallon = £ 2250 15k pa 25mpg = 600 gallon = £ 2700 15k pa 20mpg = 750 gallon = £ 3375 15k pa 45mpg diesel rep mobile = 333 gallon = £ 1500 =
  8. Sorry for the delay in replying. I can't make the 7th, nor any week-end for the next month or two. Have fun, drive safe.
  9. I think the TT "felt" better / more stable through the bends but in the Zed you tend to arrive at a higher rate of knots, so it "feels" more seat of your pants type of cornering. Its alot more stable now I've got Pilot sports on the back.
  10. Aye, but shouldn't be required on a new car should it! (assuming that Ian's car is a new one looking at the pic?) I'd keep trying pushing the dealer and getting on to Nissan Uk or something? Car is 10 months old, 15k on the clock. I'm far from lardy to have caused any damage. As you can see form my post's I have had the foam replaced / repaired and a new seat base frame, although I'm begining to doubt they did this, and only patched it up again. I will be making more noise next week to try and get it resolved.
  11. Don't think I tipped 2t on the scales yet............
  12. Mine doesn't sqeek. It is literally a pain in the ar$e. The drivers seat bolster on the base, has the metal sub-frame making its way through the sponge and almost through the leather. It digs into my leg / hip area and is causing me pain. You can easily feel the hard edge of the metal once your sat on it. First dealer said, "can't find a fault, nothing appears wrong, so we've put more sponge over the frame" If there was nothing wrong why did you do somehting to it ? Second dealer has allegedly replaced the frame portion of the base, leather now looks loose and I can still feel the frame. Its getting to the point where I'm considering replaceing the seat(s) with aftermarket ones. Ian.
  13. Drivers seat, is a pain in the ar$e. I've gad two dealers try to sort it, but no joy, end up almost driving it side saddle.
  14. Make sure you time your entry onto the ring after this has come back in.......... You don't want to catch this thing in the wrong place.
  15. Thanks John, I will give them a ring tomorrow and see if they can give me the paint codes. Any chance of the number, numbers listed on YELL are dud.
  16. I have posted in the roll call thread.
  17. Yes I've tried.............. At first they wouldn't admit liability, as it was dark when I got the car back, and covered in the white residue from fitting. Spotted the damage on Sat AM and phoned them straight away. After a few snotty phone calls and a letter ( copied into Head Office ) They have offered to pay for the repair as a gesture.......... ( I think Jester would have been a better description ) The damage is not too bad, but I know its there, but there is no way they will cough up £ 700 for a new wheel. Once its done, I will continue to shop at Costco, but will park very near the tyre bay with a "polite notice" in the car window.
  18. I've tried them already.............. and about 10 others. NONE of them have done a GT4 wheel, no-one can get the paint codes. Diamond are one of the ones who have said .......... " We will have a go, but can't promise and exact match." I think it would be better damaged than badly matched, even if I get two wheels done on the same side of the car. " I would like to pass my thanks onto the spanner monkey at Costco Haydock, without whom the damage wouldn't have happend. "
  19. So how did they come out ? Good match / finish ? Who did you use and can you / they let me have the paint code(s) Ian.

  21. I spotted that thread after doing a seach, but was after a personal recommendation. I will however give them a ring. The local W.W. franchisee is a class-one muppet, doesn't want one off business as he's too busy with dealer work. I rang head office and they were of the same attitute, other people can't step into his territory, and if he's bury just keep trying him. Let's see what the man at Costco has to say................
  22. Had new rear tyres fitted on Friday and the fitter lost his 100% record of never scratching a wheel. Has anyone had a GT4 wheel done by any of the specialists ? If so by who ? Cost ? did they do a good / avg / poor job of it ? I'm going back tonight to speak with the manager, but I'm not going to leave the wheel with them, I want to have some control of who does it. ( I would really like a new wheel as its quite badly chunked, but I guess they will only offer the likes of wicked wheels ) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ian. I'm in the North West.
