i've got a 06 on order for may but sat nav was just never a thought. my dealer agreed when i thought that a 1200 quid factory fit was a lot when you can get a road angel navigator for 600 notes. it just doens't make sense right now. i know VW have started to give away tom toms but eventually car makers will have to supply factory fit as standard i think. i think i'm going to get a snooper indago. it does europe, has the speed camera info in and can be updated easily on SD memory card. they are a very tidy design with no wires. still expensive but they, and the road angel navigator, are starting to come down in price now. hope to see a cut for the summer motoring market yet too.

not all uk models come with the gt pack. the gt pack is aircon, heated leather electric seats and the bose sound system. the gt spec cars are the only ones worth having cos let's face it, if you can afford to buy a Zed, you should stump up and get it done properly. it's the gentleman's option clearly.

dear all, i had it confirmed yesterday that the 06 coupe, that should be out in april, will cost 800 sheets more than the older model. also, rays alloys now coming in as standard on the 06. wait out for more details. i'll put them on here if i know them. does anyone else know anything more? i'm getting an azure (hence my logon name!) and have to wait till first week of may for that colour. i think silver is coming before cos it's a more popular choice. that is all. azure 06 out. bing bong.

have any of you guys thought of or have fitted tracker to your Zeds? as i'm hoping for an 06 in april, i'll naturally be very protective of her. i read on here also that there are not many Zeds in circulation (thank goodness or you might as well buy a TT ). surely this will make them a desirable prospect to potential thieves? i don't know if this is making a mountain out of a molehill and you can use it and park it anywhere in real life. opinions please?

i have a friend who writes for evo magazine and i am also dealing with NMGB direct for my 06 car, not a dealer. combining info from the two, the 06 is likely to be about 1000-1500 sheets more than current model. so what do we get for our cash? -revised lights front and rear -bluetooth phone as standard -aluminium inserts on air con -there was talk on a US website about the 06 having mp3 capability on the GT pack Bose stereo too tho i don't know if this will be on UK cars (it ought to be considering you can get a toyota aygo with an ipod link cable!) -US 06 models i've seen photos of have had the GT4 alloys but i don't know if these will be standard on new car to show it's the newer version - i hope so. and of course, the higher revving engine previously seen in the GT4

It has been a tradition in my family, because my mother is somewhat deranged, that our cars should all have female names. in the past 10 years we have seen amongst others: honda prelude = holly green range rover = ivy blue punto (sister's car- it's not mine babe!) = Pearl peugeot 306 gti6 (mine!) = Zara new blue Range rover = saffy (Sapphire blue) i see that we have at least one disciple to my mother's cause on this forum in the form of Zelda. I plan to call my 06 350 Zebedee (though i am aware he was a bloke- the tache was a giveaway). I'm open to suggestions for Z sounding names. Who can start us off with a good one?

hello again all. i've been away for work but am back around. davegti, i ordered in october because that's when i came overseas for work and i wanted to ensure my car would be ready for my return in april. i was ordering one anyway and since i've been out here the 06 has come to light. it's not that i ordered a 06 that early (though had i known in october i would have done!). i deal directly with the export manager for NMGB as i'm an overseas customer of a uk spec car and he reckons all should be confirmed reference the 06 by mid march. watch this space!

hey one and all, wow what a great welcome already! i have 3 challenger 2 main battle tanks normally and yes, i do get to tell the guy where to drive it and the gunner what to shoot! i thought the Zed was very roomy on the test drive! much better than the company car but then again that does weigh 65 tons. i ordered a car in october. they need to open that order bank soon! it's been the carrot leading this donkey on for quite some time in iraq. some cars get a military discount cos my regiment is posted to germany like audi bmw etc but nissan don't need to offer a discount cos it's so popular. i do get it tax free though for being posted overseas

hi guys, i am hoping to take delivery of a new Azure GT 06 in april too. i am a tank commander currently serving in iraq and it is my coming home/26th birthday present to myself to look forward to. the latest i have heard is that the first 06's will come in mid april and first people should have them at end of april/start of may. does anyone know anything different?
