Ok so ive noticed on my Rays that on each wheel i have a small blue dot of paint.

 

Its been bugging me and thought it must be wheel balancing or something. I just noticed it on another members wheels on this thread http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... light=rays

 

Anybody know what it is from???

 

 

 

 

Blue spot is applied at the factory from new to aid fitting of tyre in correct postion so it will need less weight to balance

I actually thought this looked a bit odd until I saw the 370Z pics - it doesn't look so bad now....

When will people realise these after market warranties are not worth the paper they are written on....

The manufacturers try and wriggle out of their warranties , so you can imagine that independent warranty co's are right sh1ts

I have dealt with dozens of these co's over the years and none are worth a light..

if the dealer you buy the car from wont warrant the vehicle and goes through another warranty scheme...WALK AWAY..

or even better buy Privately cheaper

some early cars didnt come with airbags , Mine didnt and made the retim job a lot easier / cheaper

yep they fit, just remember to get the blanking bung for the UK bumper as the JDM item is smooth with no tow eye aperture

I've just checked i have a power outlet in the passenger footwell.. Snooper now fitted every days a school day

yes its great you don't need to stick it to the window. No issues with the satellite signal or aerial then?

The SL looks great, I'll be very interested to hear how you find it to drive and what sort of mpg you get!

Just been out in the car over the weekend, ended up doing about 300 miles of mixed driving (motorway , towns ,B roads etc.) amazingly enough it averaged 25.3 MPG !!

very relaxed to drive , but not as involving as my Zed..also terribly loose on the back end

The only criticism of the car is the appaling "comand" sat nav.. my £100 TomTom is 10000% better in every respect., anybody that pays £2000+ to have a command sat nav in a Merc fitted as new must be mental

front indicators are in the headlight
