Yep, just pay on the door. I'm sticking around after my set so come say Hi, I'll be hovering at the back watching the other acts sweat
-
Busy tonight, but may be able to make Thursday at the Frog - any idea what time you're on mate?
Pretty sure I'll be on first. I'll be down there from about 7:30.
-
No but I think it is at 'Baby Blue' on Albert Dock?
-
4 days? ample!
-
Right, I'm off to the Northwest.
Tonight I'm at the Opus in Manchester, and then XS Malarke in Wilmslow (M20 6XS)
Thursday I'm at the Frog and Bucket (www.frogandbucket.com).
Friday and Saturday I'm at the Frog and Bucket (http://www.hahaheehee.co.uk/venues/the_ ... ester.html) and then screaming over to Liverpool to close the Laughterhouse at Albert Dock in Liverpool (can't find a website). Three shows a night!
Come say hello if you're up there for any of them.
Stephen

'dya think
Oh yes all makes good reading though, your ad will certainly bring out the amateur comedians
Did more than that - they weren't happy with my 'rule number 1' and cancelled my listing

Good God, if that 350Z which is pretty much stock with the exception of the charger and the abcess in the bonnet is worth £22K, despite being 3 years old and having 32K on the clock, how much is mine worth?!? (fully modified, newer, 7K on the clock).
Who wants a supercharged zed? Want to buy mine? I just don't have time to drive it anymore these days

Do you think I've been too harsh on my rules for who can bid

Thank you everyone for this. I raised approx £900 - with some great donations from the community on here. Thank you, thank you.
Mods you can unsticky this now.

OK, sorry it's taken so long everyone, but here is my official gig list until May:
www.myspace.com/stephengrantuk
Please let me know if you fancy coming to one of the gigs as I can normally get a couple of people in as VIP's. A few club members have already seen me and can hopefully vouch for the fact that I know what I'm doing (stand-up comedy pays for my 350Z modifying habit, so the more mods I have, the funnier I am, apparently )
Hopefully bump into you at a gig soon

Fantastic donation today - I'm two thirds towards my target - thanks tons!!!

A few interesting style points:
1. Dehandled (looks great)
2. Z badges on the sides moved down to the skirts (jury's out)
-
No, Jap I believe, from Takakaira (where I sourced my Ings skirts).
By the way, I know it looks like there's some sort of side garnish but that is actually vinyl flashes to make it look like the side sticks out. I'd like to see the car without that to see just how garish that kit really is.
The rear spoiler is very Blitz-esque and that's quite popular.
-
I do like that bonnet - nice choice.
What prepping work did you need to do? I thought all Veilside stuff was pretty much there.
Is it actually Veilside or is it a Veilside copy?
And will you get it painted 'in situ' or off the car prior to fitting?
EDIT - sorry - just seen the thread title - Veilside style bonnet - it's a copy, hence the prep work needed. Hope you got a good deal! (I imagine the originals are v.v. expensive).

How much does the TC interfere with the fun, the Cayman S is set up to be braver than I am and doesn’t seem to give a crap if I’m going side ways. What’s the 350’s like.
I've gone on track and the instructor told me to leave the TC on; it's only correcting mistakes and won't reduce lap times, as it will still allow you to get the power on and get a touch sideways without interfering. It's there to stop you ditching the car.

Thanks guys!

I don't have this to hand at the moment (I'm in Munich as I write this) but I mocked this up in Photoshop and it will go - the overall 'ground height' is constant throughtout. It's a good mix.
-
Whifbitz are very established - Paul Whiffin, been around quite a while, and will usually offer affiliated clubs a 10% discount.
You have to add delivery and VAT to his prices usually?
-
always like the skirts and to an extent the front (only bit I don't like about the front is the way it goes up the front bumper at the edges)
Ditch the rear for something else, and don't worry about quality as it's good stuff
I'd agree with all that
