only "hard" bit is to take off the backbox

It's a new scheme that's just been launched by Ride Drive and it concerns the Ride Drive Advanced Driving Programme which now has the backing of a motor insurance agent.
details of the benefits involved by clicking here http://www.ridedrive.co.uk/adrianflux.htm
question is, what happens if you are already insured by adrian flux, like I am?
25% seems quite an interesting sum of money to save every year...

Sweet, lets wait for him to contact me then its mine, all mine i tell thee!
Val bought a nismo bumper off eBay a while back. Apparantly the real ones have the Nismo markings on the inside. If its real it is a bargain as a real one costs approx £700 plus painting and fitting
indeed. Ask them to send you a pic of the inside of the bumper. it will have a Nismo serial number and mark on it.
I paid £200 for mine too. So price is right, if genuine

I was very very close to buying those

Just had a thought.....
How about getting together for a karting day? We blast around on karts with an element of competition, and drive to a local pub afterwards?
There are a few karting places in the Midlands:
1. PF International at Newark
2. Amen Corner in Notts (www.amencornerkarting.co.uk)
3. Ancaster Karting & Paintball, Grantham (www.ancasterkarting.co.uk)
Ancaster is right on the A1 so easy access for North and South 350s...
If anyone is interested, email me jonathan lightbody AT hotmail.com and I can start sorting it.
tried to organise a karting day only a couple of weeks back, not very successful as not many people were interested.

bet ya sarnie and sl114 will turn up now

WORK wheels can have any custom offset you like and sometimes any colour you want. That's as close as custom wheels as you can get.
-
-
have a look yourself, you can see if the pads are shot or not! even with them still on the car, just taking the wheel off will make possible to have a look at how much pad is left.
If not take a pic and we'll see
btw
-
it's you that are always wrong, when we disagree
-
man if I spent £2k on a set of wheels I would want them to satisfy all of those carachteristic
-
245 and 275 rears.
Volks are good, but (and this is just my opinion) you shouldn't go over 19" (and these already affect handling more than you think).
Perfect wheel for me for both styling and performance has to be:
FORGED
lightweight
strong
unique design (that excludes 5 spokes for me as everyone has 5 spokes)
reputable brand
must fill the arches
with a decent lip

actually i do think they are a bit overrated, yes
:teeth:
-
i think you are right Digsy, there's that famous mesh they were talking about before, on UK cars...
-
I actually don't like the sound of the DC exhaust
How come
Because he likes to disagree with me!
no because it sounds a bit like the Z farting
sorry really don't like it

What have you got dude?
WORK Mesiter S2R 2 piece forged, 18x9 and 18x10. Tokico dspec dampers and RSR titanium springs. Only drop the Z 10mm (and it's already too muhc with my kit...) but the change in handling is very noticeable.
-
Digsy they look FAT!!!!!!
What tyres do you have on them?
It's not mine, mate! It's off a yank site. Some lovely 18" wheels I had to pass by because they don't come in a 19"!
proper wheels don't come in 19"
Double six are awesome btw
cost a fortune too
-
Bear in mind the EDFC does not alter the ride height only the damping.
Ride height is adjusted with the rings on the strut and is not a two minute job, plus each time you alter ride height geometry needs adjusting to suit.
With regard to wheel size if you check out any of the serious machines in Japan you will see that 18'' is the prefered setup for track work.
We have used both 19'' and 18'' and the car definately responds better on 18''
I am aware that it is always difficult to stick with the same size wheel when you want to change because your instinct tells you that you should be making a visual statement but the correct stance can be achieved with the correct suspension and 18's most people are convinced we run on 19's looking at pics of our car but 18's they are.
amen to that.
with my wider 18" (and much lighter) and my suspension setup the improvement in handling has been SUBSTANTIAL, and that's just on UK roads, so far. Not tried it anywhere else like tracks, but expect even better results there.

35 free music tracks with emusic.com
in Off Topic Discussion
Posted
Hi guys,
together with this month's PC Zone I received an offer with 35 free music tracks to download from emusic.com
Once finished downloading them, just cancel the subscription (they ask you credit/debit card details when you register) through "your account" then "change your account status".
I just downloaded 4 albums, cancelled the subscription and thanks very much
http://www.emusic.com/futuresubs
PS don't bother using their software, and you can download single tracks only. I found it even better
