    New NSX article

    The new-generation Honda NSX supercar will not now appear until at least 2008, but when it does arrive, it is expected to have a V10 engine which will be the most powerful Honda has ever made for a production car. A spokesman for Honda's engineering division told Automotive News this week that "what we're aiming at next is not a V8 but a V10. We've got to be the top of a top group in producing engines."

     

     

    Although a production version of the HSC concept car was originally scheduled for this year, work stopped on the project for a while and it is now some years from launch. Honda president Takeo Fukui said in his annual mid-year speech this week that "we are now focussed on the development of a new model to succeed the NSX for a new era. We would like to debut a new super-sports car equipped with a V10 engine in three to four years. Please look forward to seeing the NSX successor." A concept car hinting further at the end-product is expected to make its debut at the end of next year or in early 2007, however, showing the development from the HSC idea.

     

    Fukui also outlined in his speech how Honda plans to raise its global sales by nearly 25 percent over the next three years to four million vehicles a year. It sold 3.24million in the financial year to March 2005, and plans a 16 percent increase per-annum over the next three years. Its strategy is based around offering clean, economical models, more hybrids and alternative-fuel vehicles - including fuel cell cars - and to steer clear of cheapening incentives schemes. It is to introduce the Fit (Jazz) to North America next year as the marker there is growing for economical "sub-compact" vehicles. The launch of the all-new Civic range later this year is also expected to boost sales, especially when it becomes available in China - where it will also be manufactured - from next year

    ok, ok it was only 2 members, myself and Glyn (afreemason) but still the Z present were 2 so I unilaterally declare it a meet!

     

    Met up @ Glyn's office ready to go for a curry in Bromsgrove...

    Glyn wasn't joking when he said he has 2 PCs, one for each Z forum! :lol: see pic 1

     

     

    His colleagues tagged along for the curry which was delicious but not as delicious as Glyn's admin girls!

     

    For those of you around @ the old site, do you remember when Glyn posted saying he was recruiting etc etc, and asked for advice on who to take on?

    Well I have to say that both Sarah and Carlina are really really cute! In fact, I'd hit it, twice! :teeth: see pic 2

     

    Anyway, great night out and thanks again Glyn, also for lending me the 2 admin girls, who I promise behaved

    very well back in my hotel room B):group::hug::huglove::kissing::love:

    Wrong title but never mind, glad to see that the change over to your new site hasn't changed you in anyway V :p:p;)

     

    I'd been the guinea pig on the hydrolock thingy but this time I do at least want to try and get SS box to work before I spend any more dosh, but got to say I'm tempted.

     

    :lol: since it supposedly works with N/A cars too.... once we find out if the ECU pinout is the same (Dorian is onto this) and find a flippin tuner who has UTEC experience to get it tuned at... I might go for it too mate :teeth:
