  1. yup that's the one: they even link to both Armourfend and Paintshield from the 3m Site.

IMHO Painshield is the Uk choice due to Tom's fantastic customer service (and club discount! )

  2. I saw 3 GM's on the M6, almost missed them they were that dull
I saw 6 UY today, god they are common

But mine was the best B)

sarnie where the heck did you go yesterday??? sure you weren't in the Parade lap lineup???

  3. spline drive? are they some sort of special ones ? I have locking wheel nuts for my WORKS which are different rom the std locking nuts, steve_jones told me where to get them from but was over 2 years ago now :(

  4. what a day!!!!

thanks to all the members who turned up, great great day out!!!

1- I am on fire :sun:

2- I have quite a lot less mm rubber on the front tyres from the track time :ninja:

3- I can't drive for @*!#, (first ever track experience) , nearly went off at the end of the main straight! :scare: since then was so slow I was getting passed by all sorts, but the only 350z in my group who passed me was steve-b (and in my group there was fierce donkey with his 600 hp beast, 350doc and a few more ) but the best bit was 2 guys when I went back to the Z enclosure "have you got a supercharger on??? No, why? Couldn't you see I was so slooooow? Your car sounded awesomeeeee!!! B) )

4- the parade lap was cool, but slooow! :teeth:

5- I told Chris I had totalled the Z at the last lap and the holiday in France was off

6- I got a major stone chip on the bonnet

7- was nice to meet urbanmiyth and fiercedonkey with their monster machines B)

8- great to see the biggest 350Z meet to date in the UK :teeth:

9- Thanks to Steve Burns who organised the whole thing! well done!

10- On my way back home, I caught a major downpour but my car survived, I was worried the engine bay would get flooded but there were no signs of wetness :teeth:

Glad to have met so many nice people, next for me is to get some driver training :teeth:

  5. the Z 's chassis is MUCH better than the S2000 especially on the limits. From what I read, the S2000 doesn't give you any warning and just snaps. The Z is much much easier to drive fast than the S2000.

Example: one cold morning I was going to work, icy roads, took a bend, the esp light flashed a bit, a little fishtailing, and everything was fine (very slow speeds I hasten to add). Went around the bend and.... an S2000 was stuffed in the hedge

wrt towing, afaik surely all rwd should be towed lifting the rear?

  6. FYI I pay with my own money and waste my own time to send these free ones around, and tbh I don't like wasting money (mine and the club's) nor I have time to waste. If you ask for a free one I'll gladly send it to you (if you have 350z posts) but I'd also like to see it on the car... otherwise what's the point in asking for it in the first place?

It's not a rant and of course it's all relative, but still I don't like seeing club's money (which we haven't got in the first place...) wasted by people who ask for a sticker then they don't use it. If you have no intention of putting it on your car, Don't ask for one and we'll have one extra to sell, to fund the club

and before it degenerates.... locked :p
