I don’t have interior pics, unfortunately. It is in Japanese and no way to make it English other than swapping it.

I am not going to comment on that……

Ahaha that would be a really weird question at the border control post 🤣🤣

I am the relief official veterinarian in the area, there is no vet to cover me unfortunately 🤣

Convoy from South?

And that is with the lower tariffs... 15% for Japanese cars, 25% for EU cars to the USA. So with a rough estimate it should be around 73-74k if the tariffs were same as the EU for Japan.

It is not a rumour, I imported mine late 2024 and duty was 2,5% instead of 10% due to it being a jap car manufacured in Japan. It is same for companies as well, as long as it is manufactured in Japan. It would be a different story for Japanese cars manufactured outside of Japan though.

Back to topic then sorry I am thinking more and more about the new Z, especially after the facelift. I am obsessed with 350, will never replace it with anything else, that is off the table for me. However, if Nissan was selling these here and I had the money, and I am not talking about life changing amount, like enough deposit to keep the monthly payments for finance around £300-£400 then I would buy it as the third car. One year ago, I wouldn't go near it. Idk, after seeing videos about it, and I know it is not perfect... I think I am more emotional when it comes to cars than rational

My postcode is fine, I got quotes much lower than them. I just don’t understand why they gave me quotes that high. This year their quote: £1,618.78 competitor: £580 last year their quote: £5,028.51 after phone call: around £6000 if I remember correctly competitor: ~£1400

I tried getting quotes from Adrian Flux three times so far, two for my 350z and one for Lexus, it was always at least twice more expensive than the others. I declared everything as same as I did for others but still... First year the quote I got was 4 times more expensive. Do you have any tips to get lower quotes? Maybe I was doing something wrong idk 😅

I've been working 6 to 7 days a week lately and simply didn't have time or the energy to visit locations. I think it is safe to say that I am a disappointment to the community and will commit seppuku as soon as possible. It may take a while, but I have not forgotten this post, and will do my best to gather the Zs in the south together. Just not today

F it. I’ve gone and bought the spacers as well, Eibach Pro-Spacer 20mm front and 25mm rear. Might as well do it properly if I’m going to modify the kitty. Yeah… that’s what I call her now. I’ve also contacted INGS about their N-spec body kit. It’s very expensive to import, but depending on the package size, I might just buy it and bring it back myself from Japan next year. We’ll see. I’ll attach the concept image below. That’s the dream at the moment. It might happen, it might not… who knows. But you’ve got to have a dream, right?

Okay, more updates I had to replace AC compressor and condenser, which was not an easy job! Anyway, it is done and I have a working AC now. Replaced the power steering fluid as well while I am at it and that means ALL fluids are replaced now. I think I will skip the HKS alltogether. 120 is more than enough for me, even on the tracks I think I love my car a little too much, idk. Got OEM antenna and filler cap, both installed. But the biggest news is... I GIVE UP. I will start modifying the car little by little. Got the Eiback Pro Kit lowering springs, will install those whenever I have time. Will continue with the spacers. Then maybe bumpers and side skirts. Things done so far Major service at Nissan - NEVER again New tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport 5) Front bumper resprayed Headlights cleaned and restored - Needs doing again, looking to replace lens instead of cleaning this time. We'll see... Dashcam installed (Viofo A229 Plus, hardwired) Antenna replaced and base refinished - Chipping a little bit, what can I say, TEMU antenna A-pillar finisher replaced Door seal replaced Rear wiper arm cover replaced OEM Spoiler installed Spark plugs replaced - NGK Iridium IX Oil and filter changed again Front lower ball joints replaced Right knuckle (OEM) replaced Boot popper springs replaced with heavy duty Boot struts replaced New emblems fıtted New brake pads fıtted (EBC Yellowstuff) ATF changed ıncludıng the filter/screen. Motul multi ATF - 7 litres used Differential fluid changed. Genuine Nissan differential fluid used - a little less than 2 litres Break fluid changed - Motul RBF 660 brake fluid - around 1.7 litres used Full coolant flush - Genuine Nissan green coolant - around 7 litres Air filter replaced - K&N Long-life Air Filter Brake pads replaced - EBC Yellowstuff Power steering fluid replaced AC compressor and condenser replaced, gassed. Antenna replaced. Filler cap replaced To-Do (not in order) Lowering springs- bought, not fitted yet Spacers Bumpers Side skirts Aluminium undertray Polybush kit Headlight lens replacement - bought, not fitted yet Underbody rustproofing Rear strut is chipping a little bit, may replace it, may wrap it, idk probably replace at some point Decided to go with Brembo calipers in the future I need a clean auto knob. Older version.

Oh, almost forgot! It looks like the brake calipers were installed the wrong way around - the left one was on the right, and the right one was on the left. It took us a while to figure out what was wrong, but then we noticed the bleeding valves were at the bottom. Nobody touched the brakes in the UK, so I’m assuming this was done in Japan

Some more maintenance done before Silverstone Things done so far Major service at Nissan - NEVER again New tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport 5) Front bumper resprayed Headlights cleaned and restored - Needs doing again, looking to replace lens instead of cleaning this time. I need a clean auto knob. Older version. HKS Speed limiter defencer, I skipped this one thinking 120mph would be enough for novice track session.

Display booked, thinking about track session...

Thanks mate. I have no idea why I am doing what I am doing to be honest, pushing all the buttons to make sure this car lasts

I can cut holes for you if you like. I must warn though, I have zero experience

I was thinking more like a meet where we can have something to eat and/or drink as well. I found two places in the middle of everyone Rainbow on the Lake The Bridge Inn Both in a very good location, reasonable drive for everyone, have food and drinks and looks like enough parking for us. I will visit both of them in advance and see if they are happy with us gathering there. I also want to see how busy they are during evenings to decide if I need to book or just turn up. Thinking Saturday evening, to make sure highest turnout, but we'll see

Good idea about Facebook, I’ll give that a try and see if it brings a few more people in when I have more details I’ve done a bit of digging, and it looks like the Salisbury area might be a good middle ground for most of the people I know so far. There seem to be a few decent places around there. I’m thinking it will probably be an evening meet, just because people are working during the day, so that might suit most people better. Probably just something simple like a pub or cafe meet to start with. Still open to any ideas though, so feel free to suggest anything.

Hi all, I have to admit, I got a little bit jealous of Midlandz! With some encouragement from Keith D and ShorPaul, I thought I’d test the waters for a southern Z meet. I’ve never organised anything like this before (unless you count a birthday party for my wife), so please bear with me Based on where people seem to be located, somewhere between Southampton and Taunton might be a good starting point. That said, it really depends on how far everyone is willing to travel, so I’m open to suggestions. I’m expecting numbers to be fairly low, maybe around 10 cars at most, but who knows! If it turns out to be more, I may need to look into things like public liability insurance. For a smaller group around 5–10 cars, I imagine a simple meet-up in a café or pub car park should be fine? I’m open to any ideas or feedback, so feel free to share your thoughts!

Oh... I may be down for that as well then! For the south meet... I will see what I can do. let me create a new post for this.
