I'd also pack a spare coil pack or two, if you haven't recently replaced them some cam and crank sensors electronic failure can be a real pita

Today I went car shopping and spent a bit more than I was meant to if I wanted to keep my zed so here it is for sale, it a 2003 auto import, it shows 119k on the clock but I think it's actually less than this as uk clocks were swapped into it when it arrived in UK, it drives too well for 119k anyway I bought it in May relatively stock then I started putting my parts on the car.

Tarmac sportz undertrayAs you can see its had some money thrown at it all it really needs now is an alignment and a remap to get the most out of it. Yes it is an auto but the works bell paddle shifters really make it fun to drive apparently the gearbox can shift faster than a human and I belive it. One of the best bits of it being an auto aside from the power folding mirrors is the complete lack of any bad rust, yes there is some light surface rust underneath here and there but nothing to even get remotely worried about, arches are stupidly clean.
Bad points few marks on bodywork here and there as to be expected with the age of the car, seat switches don't work that well, exhaust may have a slight blow.
I'm afraid I'm firm on the price at £5.5k as I'm sure you know some of the parts are not cheap, the wheels and tyres alone owe me around £1200!

Did the Hitachi sensor sort this?

Nice car mate, can't beat an import

If I ever went to Japan I have to leave the credit card at home!

Glws that is a good investment for someone prices are only going one way
-
Was the coil pack also unbranded?
Mine is jdm and I run uk parts on it with no problem. I'd try hitachi cam sensors then see if you have an issue
-
What brand sensor did you fit? I hear they can be a bit sensitive
-
I'd think the main stealer are the only ones who will touch the wheels and only as they have to, they will also damage them of course. I can't see any regular tyre shop willing to touch them, if they get damaged they can't just send them round the corner to their mats Daves shop to be repaired.

Ceramic suds is not a foamy wash, there is an autobrite video on ceramic shampoos, which is probably the same as the car chem version, with regards to snow foam, thick foam doesn't really do that much, it foamed up as I'd expect on my car, shifted a bit of dirt, about the same level as polar blast does. I am happy with the results I got rained overnight and had some good beading for a quick wash

Im liking the stuff so far, using it on my truck, ceramic suds is bizarre, really grabby which I don't like but immediately gets water sheeting from the car, I then used the waterless lotus, there was still a film of dirty on the bodywork so used the lotus and its come up gleaming, the z will get a bit more attention, still dk t trust waterless washed on a car that I care about the bodywork.

Received mine today, pretty much the same stuff as Andy, some interesting stuff to try, the waterless wash stuff intrigues me, may only get used for removing bird muck, will prob test it on the Mrs car first!

Git, I wanted that one :p

It seems some people are happy with what they got some aren't but for the money no one can really complain, it's just a bit of fun really

This deal runs out today at midnight by the looks of things

I have gone for the 500 and 1 litre, seems like a good deal!

I would make the journey to Horsham developments, it's only 1:45 min or so and we'll worth it, he can also sort your alignment out as well

Like what?
I have the auto dip and fold mirrors and the auto dj controls which do absolutely nothing in UK but are a nice little extra, keep thinking about selling it to some Americans as they love that stuff.
A stigma about having a jdm car is ridiculous, so what if they are cheaper? They are generally cheaper and better condition with lower milage and less rust, speaking from experience of having over 25 jdm cars they are normally a far far better buy, they actually respect their cars in Japan and properly care for them.
Also with everyone saying get a UK car if the op wants a vert auto then his only choice is a jdm one and there are not in ambundance...
The downsides such as triple gauge and see delimit can be solved cheaply and in about 20 minutes

The UK vehicle have a higher spec than this import i.e 18' alloys, brembo brakes and steering wheel controls for stereo and cruise
My import has all of those things and more cool jdm stuff that doesn't work over here. Also regarding the UK had auto statement... We didn't it was manual only

Sport mode raises shift point and just livens it up a bit
-
Good luck on your hunt, I have an auto and love it, I have the works bell paddle shifters on mine and it make sthe car pretty close to perfect in my eyes!

I will take them mate

Since fitting my high flow cats my cobra system is a bit too loud for track which is a shame as it sounds glorious so looking for a stock or ideally Nismo exhaust, happy to do a deal with my cobra system!
