Hi there, nissan gt4 I thought these came with a cd009 gearbox ?

So.... currently me and zed are not having a good time, sunday just gone some idiot delinquent decided he didnt like my car, as a result launched a bar at my drivers door so I now have a huge dent in the drivers door, lovely, I bought an upgraded satnav disk also from nissan which doesn't work... so I'm left with 2 options regarding my door, either get it repaired at 600 pound, or just wait and spend another 600 and get carbon fibre doors instead, initially I wanted carbon fibre doors, just didnt want to have to be forced into buying them this early.

Oh brilliant mirror has arrive.... in peices I'm fuming good look in me finding another one of those

Always loved those wheels, just never could work out what car they would suit or compliment, I think you've just found that car... they look brilliant!

What a bargain, the rear veiw mirror I was saying I've found for sale, I got more information from the guy I've ended up buying it it's perfect comes with original nissan receipt, box it came in, wire harness, mirror cover and full manual of how it would be fitted I'll pop some pictures up once it arrives

Ahhh brilliant, yeh the 2 I've seen one is a rectangle off the navara, located at the bottom , then the other Is square located left hand side

I see, basically a wire from the reverse switch, I was curious to where yours wired to I've seen 2 types... one plugs in directly underneath the fixing point and the other at the left hand side of it I think I'll also need to find a loom plug to plug into the mirror

Thankyou very much for your advice... greatly appreciate it, I assume the 350z didn't come with auto lights or wipers on any spec or as an option?, Have you got any pictures of your mirror?, The one I'm looking at also has a compass on there too... I've noticed nismo do a carbon fibre cover and I think the mirror im looking at its the same cover for it. I was reading up on taking the wiring from the headline lights, it sounds a bad idea lol. Luckily mine has a factory fitted satnav its surprisingly good lol I may look into seing if I can update it some how.

Thank you, I've just put a post up there in general, I've noticed a notch cut out of the headline it's for some form of wiring loom, did any 350z come with auto lights and auto wipers?,If not then I assume its for the rear veiw mirror I'm looking to buy, it's an auto dim one with compass on there too, bit of a pointless thing however it's another little novelty lol, it's been bugging me trying to find out all day if these cars came with auto light and auto wipers on any models.

Did any of the 350z come with auto lights or auto wipers?, I've noticed in the headlining on mine theres a little notch cut out, which I assume is for a wiring loom to come out from, I was unsure if this was an optional extra or not, I'm also looking at the auto dim review mirror, did this come on any of the 350z at all? The lad who is selling it, I've spoken to him and he said it's from the states, however it's all genuine nissan and is designed for the car, very curious as I think this would be a nice feature, auto dim and compass it has, many thanks for any information.

I did post some other pictures up else where of it, I was a bit unsure first with it being modified a bit however it looks alot better in person plus it's all things I can change anyway.

Many thanks for the welcome I will upload some pictures once collected, I'm curious i believe the gt4 have a 'revup' engine as their redline is at 7000 were as other zeds I looked at were 6500 mark, is this correct?... I'm going to assume the hr engine is better again as its 308 bhp standard and revs up to 9 rather than 8 and redline seems to be at 7500?, hr standing for higher rev ? I'm coming from a vag world so I'm new to nissan, I've had jap cars before just never a nissan so nice new experience. Many thanks for the warm welcome.

Hi there, I popped a post up before saying I was looking into buying a zed, I've bought one and I'm off to collect it this weekend... excited isn't the word, it's a gt4 edition with a few extra optional extras on there.

The updated brembo kit? Do you mean the ones with the brembo fitted I.e gold brake calipers, all of the ones I'm looking at have them... if I find the coupe one better I have the perfect one lined up. Thank you for your advice

Hello there, I've been on the toss up between buying an s2000 or a 350z, however my heart says more the 350z route, I'm off to test drive 2 tomorrow, one is the soft top version and the other is the hard top, I really like the look of the soft top and the idea of being able to remove the roof, however my fear with the soft top is it will flex alot more, I've also been told if I considered the drifting route, I'd not be allowed on track with out a roll cage, is there a noticable difference with the ridged version as a oppose to the soft top? If so and I do like how they drive tomorrow I've found my perfect one to buy, it's high mileage however has been well maintained and also I have intentions of uprating rods, pistons and all other internals anyway as I know for a fact I carnt and wont leave nothing alone lol, any advise in advance is very highly appreciated.
