That does look nasty, and I hope everyone is ok.
I personally prefer the Z, but I do also like the idea of a GT86(preferably with either a turbo or a supercharger bolted to it) because of their lighter weight. Both are good fun cars I reckon.

I think the thing with the 350 is that it wasn’t perfect, not by any means. The interior was cheap and nasty even back then, the stock engine note was awful, and out of the factory it did handle much like the transport favoured by Rosie & Jim. Other comments on that thread are dodgy gearshift (yup), thirsty af (yup), and blunted by the weight of it (yup)
It was a hero car for me though. I had my 18 month old S14a 200SX back in 2002 at the time(I had it for 4 years), so the 350Z was a natural replacement for me. Plus I'd lusted after the Z32 300ZX Twin Turbo for as long as I can remember prior to having the 200 as well.
The 350 is much better than you describe it for me. I guess that I'm a massive fanboy of Z cars though being fair!

I was surprised to read that most of the comments were negative as well. The 350/370 have never been loved on PH though to be fair, but you'd think with it being a car enthusiasts website that there would be more love for them.
I do personally prefer turbo engines and that is why I'm disappointed that the new Z isn't coming to Europe, however I personally think that the 350/370 have loads of charm and character, and I certainly love mine for sure.
I really like how individual and rare the 350 is now, and who doesn't want a V6 RWD Coupe with a manual gearbox and a LSD!

Nice one!
It is great to see you back in a 370 for sure!
Enjoy it.

Hello and welcome.
Enjoy the car.

Welcome back.
That is identical to mine, and you don't see many 370Z Roadsters.
Enjoy it.

Apparently Nissan doesn't care about 0 - 60 or beating the Supra. Its not about that.
Its going to be quicker than the Nismo 370 especially the Automatic. 15% increase puts it at 4.2 seconds not far of the E92 M3. I think that plenty fast for the road
Both trims will feature launch control
My manual E92 M3 only did it in 4.8 seconds...so I'd very happily take this new Z at 4.2 seconds for sure!
I'm not sure how many times I've mentioned it(a lot!)...but I'm still really gutted that this isn't coming to the UK.

Great photos.
They both look so clean.

Welcome.
A fantastic looking Z you have there.

I've always used Autosol and I always do the exhaust tips, however I have started to polish the back boxes on my 370Z recently though. I've always had a bit of an exhaust tip fetish to be fair!

Why don’t you come to Brands this month. We have plenty of room still on the club stand
Really appreciate the invite.
If it didn't clash with my birthday weekend I would've definitely been up for that.

You do need to, pretty sure I was the only 370z roadster there.
Yes and yours was the only one I saw too.
I grabbed a couple of photos of it, and it was fantastic to see it in person for sure.

I was amazed just how many Zs were at Japfest. I think the only model more represented (and only maybe) was the much newer GT86.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the Zs on the stand and generally dotted around too. Agree that there were loads of GT86s as well. It was a fantastic day I thought, although the track action was really poor yesterday in comparison to what I'm used to when I go to Trax or FordFair at Silverstone though.
I need to join you lot on the stand next year though, so I can push the 370Z Roadster numbers up a bit more I reckon!

I would also rather walk...that and living in London driving a diesel is not a healthy mix.
Do they actually let diesels into London anymore now?!
Surely everyone has an electric car down there by now!

I couldn’t buy a diesel as a fun car. I’d rather walk.
A very fair point I reckon.

I still have so much want for this.
Such a massive shame that we won't be able to get one in the UK I reckon.

Thank you.

Does anyone know if you will be able to buy a ticket for this at the gate for general entry on the day? Or can you only purchase a ticket online. Thanks.

Nice looking exhaust. They sound nice, if a little quiet. But with high flow cats they sound better. IMHO...
I noticed that the high flow cats were missing as well...but I thought that he'd probably spent enough as it is to mention it though!

I didn't gel with my Z4M Roadster, and I didn't like the gearbox/ride/suspension. The suspension has zero give in it, so if you hit a bump in the road it can be very unnerving. It was a wild ride though! Going from first to second quickly was an absolute pig in it too, and I wasn't a fan of the gearbox much at all.
In comparison I much prefer the 370Z Roadster that I have now for sure.
