Problem is the emission test it the last part of the MOT, ie they'll prob cool down by this time.
i think so, i have another chance within 10 working days and i think next time they will just do the emission test instead of doing all the checking again?

Did you get them really hot before arriving for the test? The hotter they are, the better they work / more efficient they are. Go for a spirited drive before you arrive for the test.
hello, i gave it a 30 min spirited drive beforehand, maybe they did the test when it was cooled down. Anyway, i will give it another go later, luckily, i still have one month mot left. If it is not working, i would put my oem cats back. thanks for the tips

When i bought my 370z a few months ago. i noticed that whenever i press the brake (especially when doing 50 mph above) the steering shakes a lot. A few days later, I went back to the dealer and had the rotor changed. Yet, since last week, the problem was back again. I have had the rotors, pads and calipers checked but none of them seems causing the problem. has anyone had this problem before?

Although they have had a short life they look like they have had a hard life.
Shouldn't they have two gaskets rather than the one shown??
Good question. The other one is actually covered by the one shown.

GT, Black, 2011 (60Plate)
I haven't managed to get any decent pictures due to the usual poor Cumbrian weather (the ones attached are from the for sale ad lol)
going to be doing a few subtle mods but concentrating on getting it top notch first, not that it needs much, the previous owners have taken very good care of it.
so hope to see you around some time
regards
Cozzie
got the exact same color as you. hope you enjoy it. are you going to mod it?

Selling is my 370z Torqen non resonated stainless steel short tail with 5" burnt up tips. Bought the invidia gemini CBE later to replace my rusty exhaust system and that's why i am selling these. They sound great and fit perfectly to your OEM exhaust system. This is the nismo version but can also be fitted on the base model. Done 400 miles (still have the receipt) so far and is in great condition in general. Got some scratches under the tips but not noticeable when fitted to your car. Bolts, spacers and gasket included.
Asking for £250 for collection or 50/50 for postage. Thanks for reading.

Head to Abbeymotorsport on here for the ECUTEK. Call them and speak to Mark or Scott and they will talk you through the differences and answer your questions. BTW only 5 spaces left for Incarnation. I see you haven't put your name down yet.
Thanks Payco, i will give them a call now.
Yeah, i have read your post but i have got something on scheduled already so i might not be able to stay there for the whole day and that is why i have not signed up. I live literally just 5 mins away from the seafront so will definitely drop by to meet you guys on that day We surely need more 370z though

So i have finally have my Invidia gemini and HFC fitted to my 370z and it is now time for a remap.
I am not sure whether i should go for the Uprev or the Ecutek. Mine is the auto so launch control and flat foot are not applicable.
Does anybody have the same set up and what gain did you get for either remap?

Probably a HFC and new exhaust. It's currently been decatted and has a cheap horrible exhaust thrown on. Need to get it through its MOT.
Maybe getting the OEM cats for the MOT and keep the decat for the rest of the year? I was told that there is a chance that the HFC will not pass the MOT if not warming it up enough right before the test. For me, i fitted a HFC and the invidia gemini cat back exhaust as my OEM exhaust was so rusty and i decide to keep the car for a few years. If that is within your budget, then go for it, you will not regret

Got mine just now, you will not regret owning a Z hope you find a decent one soon

my previous "pass" mot will last till the beginning of July. Even the car failed today's mot, i still have roughly a month to get it done. The reason i am having the mot in advance is becoz i am trying to sell my car . Luckily apart from the emission problem, no advisory or other failure.
