    Anymore progress?

I now have the UTEC fully working in my car and the Wideband reader installed, strangly the UTEC isn't showing the widebands reading in the logs is this something you come across?

Sorry not really any updates I'm still tuning and coming across little things I hadn't thought about that require me starting to tune again from scratch and little niggling problems like having to fit an idle air valve since going over to cable throttle, of which I'm on my third (air valve) but it's getting closer all the time so I will hopefully have something for you soon

    :)

Seen this in person looks like the dogs bollocks, can't wait to hear it in person :p

I apologise in advance for lowering the standard of cars

I think i might beat you Steve just got home from wrapping it what a nightmare, the rear bumper needs coming off and wrapping fresh again we ran out of time and some of the other panels have been missed.

At least it stands out its half white half silver atm, still has the stock wheels on didn't have time to sort out my new JR3s I was genuinely debating just parking in the normal car park to avoid the embarrassment

I've spent the last two days wrapping it till early hours and its just been a nightmare.

  4. Might not make Japfest in my Zed now its got major electrical issues which I can't for the life of me work out. It keeps miss firing randomly, trouble starting sometimes takes hours of ****ing about with everything to get it going. Cuts out randomly while driving which is scary as **** when you loose power steering and the brake booster. My cars partially wrapped, haven't bought my tyres for my new wheels since I needed the money for fixing these issues and getting it through its two MOTs.

Snapped a bleeder nipple of a front brembo caliper last week and now all of this. My luck has just been getting worse and worse.

To make my timeframe even shorter I go away for a works trip early Monday and don't come back till late Friday

Next year boys, next year :surrender:

Ah, man really? After all that.

Didn't catch fire did it? Had that happen in my 106 GTi when the oil pressure sensor blew out and squirted oil on the manifold. Not an experience I want to repeat, thank god for the extinguisher I had installed.

Yeah man was the final blow to the balls, but as i say they've changed the plugs its going to a friend of a friend at 3 today and should pass as long as the rest of the car is sound. Luckily it didn't catch fire just smoked like a bitch in the cabin. I also had a fire extinguisher with me on the passenger seat ready

How'd it go? Get through in the end?

Lol no failed on emissions it had a massive oil leak on the way and it pi**ed all over the headers. It also cut out twice while on the motorway and then again on the MOT ramp took 10 hours to find the electrical fault we're 95% certain we've fixed it but until it goes for a long run theres no telling it ran for over 2 hours after and didn't stall so i presume its fine. New plugs are being installed now. After it was running again we got it  on the ramp and Carbon dioxide wouldn't go in the green. Everything else was.

It's got a test later with a friendly tester who I'm sure will get it to pass the emissions test ;) it was only off by 0.3 on carbon dioxide

Tickets should be emailed to us all next week going on previous years.

Im hoping after last years success and the large number of cars in attendance  we will be allocated a prime spot preferably on tarmac.(near the food).

I have to spoken to a couple of Z legends (keyser and Buster) who will be parked up at each end of the first row(With club flags),and thankfully are going to help me get you all lined up and ready to show off your pride and joy!

This is one of the biggest car shows at the finest venue in the uk so get in early (8.30min) to avoid being stuck in a jam with the general public.

A note to all 7 members who have booked track time. You will be allocated parking on the front row so you can get in and out of the stand easily.

This is going to be one awesome collection of Z cars!!!!

Awesome I should have my car ready by then, it's still got to be wrapped and put back together :headhurt:
