  1. Drove all the way down from South Manchester, dropped the Zed of at Horesham first thing Tuesday morning. We stayed in a Travel lodge for the night and picked the car up the next afternoon. Oil gallery gasket, diff and gear box oil, new EBC grooved discs and Red Stuff pads all round. They did a brilliant job, very professional and knowledgeable. I will always go there now. Its a bit of a pain but well worth it, brilliant shop and very friendly.
  2. Just mooching on a 350z forum on FB I came across something I knew nothing about. I have a 2007 HR which runs fantastic, doesn't burn any oil whatsoever and starts and idle perfect. When I first got the car I noticed that when warm the oil pressure was quite low but because it was so quiet on tickover I never gave it a second thought. Now apparently the oil gallery gaskets fail on these motors and the motor can go pop at any time...on reading this my arse whent. Please...if any of you gurus could advise me It would be gratefully received. Thanks David.
  3. Thanks for the advice, if my unit isn't serviceable will it be a case of sourcing a working replacement and will it be a straight swap, I really appreciate the help.
  4. Hi all, I haven't had my Zed very long and am absolutely loving it. The only problem I have found is the sat nav disc appears to be stuck in the CD drive/unit just behind the driver seat. It makes a wirring noise but wont eject and wont load so the sat nav wont work. My car is an 07 313HR GT. I did a search but couldn't find anything that would help. Any advice greatly appreciated or if anyone knows a company that services these units that would be smashing. Thanks Dave.
  5. Hi everyone, finally realized a dream and am now the proud owner of a Twilight Grey 313HR GT. They say never meet your heroes because you will inevitably be disappointed...but I must say I am anything but, I love it. I think its one of the most beautiful cars ever and lovely to drive. I was going to wait till Spring to get one but I wanted a specific colour, and spec namely GT with sat nav and leather trim and one came up for sale just after Christmas and I am very happy. I will post some pics as soon as I have cleaned it as at the moment its minging with the roads being nasty. I have been an avid fan of this forum for ages but now I felt I could really justify becoming a member now that I am the very proud owner of a 350z.
