@Payco Great meet!
Was nice as a first timer to come down and see these cars and owners in the flesh. Shame i had to shoot off early, but will definitely be back again.
Great pics all, i've got a long way to go compared to some of those beasts!

I'm definitely up for a meet up. Can organise something if others are interested? How about a breakfast meet on Sunday 24th March?
Cant make this weekend. Just getting the car back from the paint shop next week!

Welcome to the world of endless mods to waste away any money you didn't have to begin with!

Probably a bit late notice and a bit far, but there's a monthly meet tomorrow at bluewater in Kent (by Dartford) at 7.30 'till late, its the yellow (plaza) car park middle level
Superb thanks for that. Cant make this one but may well do in the future if they're monthly?

Hi Paul and welcome along!
Also considering downing my 19" to 18" rims at some point. Need better handling and ride quality.

have you got a cold or are you intending to vapour rub your car ??
Makes it go faster right????

My DE did this but that was due to a partial airlock in the heater matrix. ended up jacking the front end up, taking off the cap to the reservoir and radiator, topping the rad up to the top and gunned the accelerator a few times to get the air out (all done with the heater on inside the car and the fan on max).

whoops....just realised i dumped this in the 370z thread. Can one of the admins please move this into the 350z section please!!!
Thank you!

Hi All,
Considering getting the Kinetix adjustable Camber Control arms as they're a fair bit cheaper than some of the others. Has anyone had any issues with them??
Cheers for your input!

That’s probably the date I will use for our first South East meet for 2019. Lots coming up in the diary. I will organise something soon and then it will formerly kick off with Incarnation in May. I have booked Ace as normal and have a stand reserved for Leeds Castle.
Ok cool, i'll keep an eye out

Welcome along,
for the clinking (lf on the rear) check the splines on the axle/hubs too, get some decent grease on there as that's common.. There is a guide on here somewhere but it's simple I belive it just involved taking the split pin out, count the rotations to loosen - but don't remove the hub nut - just enough to pull it away, then apply your *suitable* grease using a small paint brush, then reverse to re-fit. It stopped some chingling noises/clunks at low speed for me
Cheers for that, if its still noisy after the new lower control and camber arms go in i'll definitely give it a go

Right, Heres a few photos for you guys..
So ive started by taking the overly cooked on wrap off which has taken months! Rebuilt the brakes, re-installed the removed radiator reservoir, replaced inner tie rods, replaced grommits removed from engine bay for some diy wiring, replaced BCM due to water damage due to grommits being removed, replaced AC belt which was removed, checked remaining wiring and finally replaced alloys and tyres as i went through a cavernous pot hole which cracked 2 rims!!
Next on the list is lower control arms and adjustable camber arms for the front as theres still some clunking and clinking over bumpy roads.
-
thanks all! Feeling it already, although i went in knowing what i was getting into!
