always a good plan to do a recky of the route just before we all go out to see any police traps or other hazards out there tree/debris that sort of thing also good to have an idea of route before leading a convoy.
Can't believe any one would enjoy doing a recky.....
The list would be so small..
(because I never seemed to do the same routes on the Wales weekend as everybody else,I enjoyed the recky more)

Great and I'm driving to West Reading this afternoon.
Ours is all going now.
Over Wednesday,Thursday and Friday......
Evo T was 'passable' just I believe.
Horseshoe Pass was 'Closed'.
Nant y Garth was 'Closed'. (bendy bit near Ruthin from the Horseshoe to Ruthin route)
Note...... Alex gets proper snow and North Wales a lot less.

If the glass was tempered and got hot and then got hit by rain they can shatter. Seen that a couple of times.

ah ok, so I need a vented petrol can then... that 20L VP Racing one does look good, although slightly concerned that some petrol pumps don't let you fill things larger than 10litre plastic cans - I thought 20 litre cans were illegal in the UK now?
Shell seem to be the worst for the 10 Ltr rule. (most say two 5s not a single 10 Ltr)
It's a case of finding the "right" petrol station. I get it all the time with the jet ski cans.
Edit... ^^^^^ The VP one are designed to stop UV degradation.

Just remove it.
Some say......... it's to stop you putting a rear wheel on the front.
O is that what it's for!! Now I feel really stupid haha
Well now it's too dark so it'll have to be done tomorrow now.....
I say ' Some say' as we never seem to have had a definite YES that is what it is for.
(not so dumb,--------it has been asked lots and lots and lots lots more times on here before you asked)

I cant see the screen on mine from the drivers seat the rear view mirror obscures it but i have yet to hear of anyone being done or even stopped for it and I dont believe the law is clear on it
But if it that much of an issue just mask the screen off with some tape
Just for info.

The law is very clear. Will you be done for it ? Well that's another question.

Won't WD40 dry out rubber over time?
Yeah, I wouldn't use it, will have a long term effect (and it's smelly)
Pete
WD40 kills the rubber seals and joints on jet skis. So instead we use GT85 (it's quite cheap from CPC farnell)
Gummi Pflege for the win though.

FAO Andyhut ^^^
See post 22 for pictures. Grit will have accumulated under the spoiler. So care is needed.
A bit of searching should find more threads on removals. Think it's been covered a few times.
