  1. Thanks! ðŸ‘🾠I'll be sure to add some pics with them fitted! It was from an e46 M3. It would have looked like this before I FUBAR'd it ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
  2. So this is where I've got to so far. It's only rough as I don't want to spend too much time getting them perfect before I know I'm 100% on them, so this is merely an experiment really. I will try and get them fixed on tomorrow and see how they look. Once I line the outside edge where it sweeps up with the side of the bumper the area that was cut should be tucked underneath the bumper for the most part anyway. If I like how they look I'll take get them filled nicer and re-finished in black or maybe carbon! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Cheers for the advice everyone. After seeing those corner splitters i think I might give something like that a go! They look awesome! *heads to YouTube to watch more fibreglass tutorials* 😸
  4. So as the title really, this splitter was taken off an E46 M3 at my work and was just laying around ready to go in the skip. I bodged it together and offered it up against the 350 and it looks asthough you could make it fit the stock bumper with some tinkering. Just wondered if anyone has repaired anything similar or any tips on how I should attack this? 🤔ðŸ‘🾠Cheers guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Rush jobs :(

Few scratches still visible but not regretting doing it for the relative ease and small cost, although it has left a funny smell in the cabin 🤔😂 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Been thinking about some HFC's too as I've had two CEL's in the past month or so, both P1147 which I think is 2nd o2 sensor on bank 2... Cleared the code with a code reader and then pedal dance although the pedal dance took me about 10 attempts to get right 😩 If the CEL is annoying you I definitely recommend the pedal dance to clear it, I'm sure you'll find a thread with instructions on here! Also both times the light came on, it was a cold start on a fairly cold evening (think about 8 degrees) so I don't think it likes the cold. I can't wait to see what happens when it gets really cold 🙄 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheers for the feed back guys! Got it all back together and in the car and it doesn't look too bad, much better than the scratched plastic anyway! I think I'm gunna see how it wears, if it shows to be fairly durable I'll rub it back and try and get a better finish, and if not I'll definitely look into getting it hydrodipped! I did use a high build primer but not too experienced with painting although I'd love to learn, and would love some proper painting gear. The fear of messing up and wasting time/money is what puts my off though, I'll get a picture in the morning when there's some natural light as iPhone flash does no favours 😸 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I had the dash centre section out today to give it a freshen up. Went and got some high build primer, gloss black paint and some clear coat after reading a few threads on here and got to work. Taking the pods and heating controls out and I didn't have a soldering iron so just took a Stanley blade under the melted plastic tabs on the pods to free them up, gave em a gentle wiggle and got them out fine. Sanded it back a little with some 400 and then 1500 grit to get rid of a few of the more visible scuffs on the plastic but so it kept its texture and rubbed it down with some thinners. So far so good. Got my primer on, did 3 coats ( used basically the whole can) and let it dry patiently. Still all good. Got my first two layers of base coat on and it was looking lovely and glossy, no runs or paint reactions so I was chuffed although I could still slightly see a few of the deeper scratches. This is when I thought it would it be a good idea to lay the final basecoat on a bit thicker in the hopes that it would cover some more of these marks. Bad move. Went too think now I've got a £2 coin size run down the passenger side. Doh. Atleast it's only my passengers that have to look at it 🤔 lesson learnt thought I suppose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks guys. I made a new account as I never got a verification email before so couldn't post. But hopefully I'll be more active now. Wilo - I'll have listen on decel and see if I can notice it. I'll try and get the car up on the ramps at work and check it out. Not the signs of a failing clutch/gearbox then? How long has your car been making the noise? As it's definitely new to my car Cheers for the warm welcome guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hi guys, long time lurker. Non-poster until now as the search function works pretty well! I bought my zed in may this year (orange 04 with 67k) and it's all been roses. She's had fresh front pads, an oil change and 2 rears in 9k miles. It was Jap-show at santa pod this weekend so headed down for the first time with my pal in his r33 gtst and did 3 runs. My best was a 14.6 1/4 mile at 97mph, no problems and I took 2/3 runs 😠But this evening I was driving home from the gym, downshifted and heard a strange rattling almost like a loose exhaust heat shield but it's only when the clutch is down and it sounds asthough it's coming from the little ashtray behind the shifter. 🤔 (don't think it's clutch chatter/realise bearing noise) and it's more noticeable above 3-4K rpms Just wanted to say hi and ask for some advice and to hear if anyone else has experienced something similar really. Thanks Ross Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
