  1. In fairness it is marked as 'unit stocking' finance, so I suspect it is just sloppy paperwork on behalf of the dealership who haven't cleared their own finance before selling me the car. Still another thing for me to sort out though, before I can finally enjoy the car.
  2. Yep I'm afraid so - I'm still having no luck with them despite reporting them to Trading Standards, getting an independent inspection on my car and going back and forth for two weeks. I've finally given up patience with them and will be getting my insurance to repair my car .... but will be taking them to court to get my insurance Excess and engineer report cost back as a minimum, and the full value of the repair back if Admiral will back me up (which they should, since the engineer's report is so unequivocal). Quoting from the report: "The deficiencies in the bonnet catch operation should have been identified both in any reasonably accomplished pre-sale inspection but crucially should have been identified on the MOT test inspection as a point of failure on primary catch function. " These guys are utter cowboys and I suggest anyone else spotting this in advance of making a purchase, steers well clear. Oh - and to add insult to injury, turns out the supposedly 'HPI clear' car they sold me ..... has outstanding finance on it.
  3. Darn it darn it darn it!!!!! How I wish I'd seen this thread before I bought my 350z from Junction17 2 weeks ago. I would have steered well clear. I'll post more details when I get to a proper keyboard but the long and short is they sold me a car which had literally just passed MOT in their pet MOT garage and a 'thorough pre-sale inspection', both of which failed to spot the totally rusted up bonnet catch which was a clear MOT and safety failure. 24 hours after purchase I was driving at 60 down a B road and the bonnet flew up, inverted and smashed into the roof and windscreen. Both front wings also damaged near the hinge point. They've been utter tossers about it, 'sold as seen' essentially, even though it should have failed MOT because both primary and secondary catches are totally fubarred. I now have an independent Dekra engineers report to prove it, but they still aren't interested in fixing the car for me. Trading Standards and small claims court here I come. Utter scheisters . Will post more detail shortly. Legally, they don't have a leg to stand on. I have to wonder if they are a bit dim as well as being clueless about customer service basics and road safety.
  4. Sorry no, 350. Late GT model on a 58 plate
  5. Hiya, do you still have any of these available? I've just picked up a 2009 GT and the catch on it is super gunked up. Thanks!
