Just read your guide, spot on that, how much did everything cost you and where did you get the gearbox oil from? Looks very straight forward to be honest.

So a quick update, had the wheels powdercoated and the MPS4S'S fitted, been on the car over a month now, bedded the tyres in and took it easy on them for a few hundred miles, first impressions were good, immediately noticed road comfort was better, road noise is still on par with what I had on before.

Managed to get out on a few very hot days down some country lanes for some relatively hard driving, all I can say is wow, the car changes direction so much better, feels way more balanced. The level of grip on offer completely exceeded my expectations to the point where I feel I'm the limiting factor driving the car and not the car itself. I can corner that hard that the front oem mudflaps actually scrape the tarmac and the car feels like it still has more to give! 

The rears still spin up in the wet but a rwd car with 300+bhp you kind of expect that. Launching the car in dry conditions used to result in snaking off down the road, now it just digs in and goes, not a single bit of wheelspin off the line. 

Recently done a top speed event and hit speeds of upto 170mph and the car still felt extremely stable and planted.

I would say the only negative is that they seem to chuck a heck of a lot of stones and debris up into the arches, not sure if this is due to compound and tread pattern but it's definitely more noticeable. 

All in all I would highly recommend these tyres, they have completely transformed the car, it just feels so much better than before in every single way.

Just solo runs, I think it's purely down to safety reasons, I would definitely recommend it, it's only a 40 minute drive from me so it's ideal, quite a few people had travelled from a far.

All in all the day cost £165.00, £150.00 for the event and £15.00 for a days ACU licence, the day itself was really well organised, everyone followed social distancing guidelines etc. Booked on and went through scrutineering then went for a drivers/riders brief, all quite relaxed to be honest with a bit of light hearted humour. 

There was a burger van there but I took some grub with me as I didn't expect much to be there due to Covid. No proper shelter as you are in the middle of an airfield but luckily we had a lovely day with bright sunshine and a moderate crosswind.

As for vehicles I was one of the slowest in the car class, in fact 2nd last! There was a 400bhp Evo 8 which surprisingly only pulled 152mph over the mile, an M2 which pulled 162mph over the mile, an F80 M3 which was seriously quick think he pulled 194mph over the mile then a stock looking M240i which pulled 197.4mph over the mile but later told me he kept going to well over 200mph at the end of the runs! 

Paramedics were set up at the end of the mile marker which thankfully were not needed on the day and the marshalls were quite strict about speeds entering/exiting the pit lane, plus there was plenty of marshalls around. 

Some seriously quick bikes, made the cars look slow to be honest! 

So recently a friend convinced me to tag along to a Straightliners top speed event at Elvington runway, speeds were measured over a 1/2 mile and mile. Managed to get 6 runs, best run I clocked a 148.366mph through the traps over the mile. All runs were within 1mph of each other so mega consistent which I was happy with.

I took everything out of the car which wasn't necessary and fiddled with tyre pressures throughout the day but it made little to no difference, started the day thinking anything over 140mph and I would be happy as the Z Isn't really a straight line speed car. Slightly gutted I had a full tank of fuel as this adds more weight but even still I don't think with the current mods 150mph+ would have been achievable over the mile. 

The last few runs everyone ignored the braking markers and carried on accelerating down the 2 mile runway and braked as late as they dare! I managed to get upto 170mph before slamming the anchors on, car felt like it was still pulling but very, very slowly, not sure it had much more to give, or if it did, it would have taken a long, long time to get there! 

All in all a brilliant day out and I would highly recommend it to anyone, really was fun.

As per title, I would like to upgrade the stock OEM pads with a performance pad, car is a daily driver and gets a bit of abuse on country roads now and again. I actually find the OEM Akebono pads very good and do not want to compromise bite from cold but welcome any increase in stopping power and less fade would be nice aswell. 

Any suggestions and feedback welcome.

1 pair of 350z/370z Torqen S 25mm spacers, on the car for approx 4k miles, still in brilliant condition, I sprayed the outer edge gloss black but this can easily be scotchbrited off if necessary. £75 delivered or collection can be arranged.

Size 5 × 114.3 × 66.1 so may fit other vehicles.

As per title I am after part number 96210-1EA0A which is a 370z number plate plastic bracket, I believe it's a US version so it's small. 

Seeing as my car is my daily to work and back and occasional road trip I decided to opt for the more comfortable option which going off reviews is the Michelin, the 4 S came back into stock, I have slightly deviated from stock tyre size:

Stock

245/40 R19 front

275/35 R19 rear

Gone for

255/40 R19 front

285/35 R19 rear

So 10mm wider front and rear which I very much doubt will make a difference but more traction would be welcome as the car has a wee bit more grunt than stock.

Got them from Blackcircles and got 15% off so the grand total delivered to my door is £730.00

Getting them delivered as the wheels are off in to get powdercoated shortly so no point in paying for fitting. 

Thanks to all for any input but after watching the tyre review test several times and hearing there was literally nothing between the two in terms of performance, it ultimately came down to comfort, road noise is ever so slightly better on the Michelins according to the DB readings when tested aswell.

Roughly how many miles have you done on them? What tyres did you have on previously? 

Only one comparison of wear and it's on the comments section of tyre reviews on YouTube, a lot of people have run both tyres and said there is no difference in terms of wear, I have seen a few comments about the Michelins being more comfortable but the Goodyear feels a more poised, sporty tyre. 

Ideally I want to buy from Blackcircles because I have a code for 15% off, getting a 285/35 R19 is difficult and they have no idea when it will be back in stock, they have the 255/40 R19 for the fronts in stock though.

I'd go for the Goodyear's if as you say are readily available in the tyre size you want. Plus a saving of £140 can always go towards better things. 

I won't go down in wall size on the fronts from a 40 to a 35 because it makes the arch gap look huge, I know it's only 2.5mm but it makes a huge difference. 

Time has come to get some new tyres on my Z, seen reviews on both tyres and they are nearly identical in terms of grip and handling, road noise and comfort are better on the Michelin but wet handling and overall feel are better on the Supersports according to the reviews.

Stock tyre sizes are:

Front 245/40 R19

Rear275/35 R19

Eagle F1 comes in both those sizes, Michelins however do not, so I would have to go up 10mm front to a 255 and if I were to do that I would go up 10mm rear to a 285 aswell even though I'm not keen on deviating from stock size. 

Anyone had experience with the Eagle F1 supersports? Would love to hear some feedback on these tyres, more specifically on a 370z. 

Trying to get a hold of the Michelins is becoming an issue aswell, nowhere seems to have them in stock!

Price difference between the two is quite substantial aswell, Eagle F1 delivered is £610 the Michelins however are £750. For what is basically the same tyre in terms of performance why is there such a premium on the Michelin?

Any help or advice welcome. 

I had a very similar feel on my old 350z HR, turned out the diff bush had blown, if you blast your car off regularly with a jetwash you won't even notice the fluid has leaked out so it can be tricky to spot. It had covered 62k when I realised, replaced them with whiteline bushes and it tightened the feel of the car up, but I did replace the compression arm bushes at the same time so that might also have helped. How old is the car and what mileage has it done? W brace could be another culprit if it has rotted taking a bit of rigidity away. 

You still don't quite get it. Your half and half right and I've lost the will to try and explain lol. Don't take offense to this.
