  1. Hi, the heat shield around one of my cats is rusted and rattling, so im after a replacement. Im really in need of the drivers side Cat, however if anyone has both cats in good condition i might just get both replaced.

    Thanks!

  2. After purchasing a re-trimmed flat bottom steering wheel, i have my standard Nismo wheel for sale.

It is in used condition and the alacantra and leather at the back top of the wheel is worn.

£150 collection from Norwich preferred. But can post at buyers expense.

You’re worried about the warranty, yet have changed the spoiler (bang goes the paint and body) and the steering wheel (ditto the electrics and steering). Very odd.

Ive just found the confusion... it was one of the guys that commented on here mentioning they were worried about the warranty on theirs. Nothing to do with me :)

Ive never mentioned anything about being worried about the warranty  And i dont have any warranty left anyway, or at least not that im aware of

I feel you are getting me confused with someone else haha.

  6. I swapped mine for a non nismo bootlid so i could put the MK1 spoiler on so i didnt have to get anything repainted, but its not in great condition and has bad scratches from removing the GT spoiler. Im really OCD when it comes to colour matching, so id much rather just get another bootlid than get it repainted.

I know you can get a standard clear coat and then a 2k clearcoat which i used for my bumper. The 2k stuff is twice the price but supposed to be resistant to petrol/oil etc. (Well, as much as your oem stuff is) so it may be just crappy clear you have used, also i think you need to give clear a good day or so to cure before exposing it to the elements (Temp and humidity dependant) so possibly if you put it straight onto car that may have been an issue?

just clutching at straws for you.

Thank for the reply. I did wait about 15 hours before putting them on the car, but maybe i should have waited at least 24 hours.

I mean they seem to be fine in dry, just weird as hell in the rain

  8. So it appears i have the weirdest clearcoat out there...

I looked at the car again this morning when it was dry and there was no rain, and the badges are all perfect again with no discolouring  Im so confused... I almost feel like i have one of those mugs that changes colour when its hot but mine is when it rains

The main thing is though there doesnt appear to be any permanent issues with the badges.
