i just wish that Nissan had carried that rear wing forward onto the V2.

I could not agree more! The V2 Nismo one looks great on the GT (i put it on my GT before i sold it) but its too tame for the Nismo kit. Here it is on my old GT:

It was my first thing to move over from the old car when i got this one!

I was lucky enough to find a genuine Nismo spoiler imported from Japan (so all in pearl white) on Ebay and snapped it up :teeth:

  2. My passenger side windscreen washer jet has packed up, and even after trying to clean it i cant get it working.

So after that jet unit (dont need any of the tubing). Dont know if the drivers and passengers are any different, but if so its passenger i need.

I have PMed zmanalex as well.

  3. Dont worry, ive not had an accident or anything. Its just the rear bumper i have at the minute was resprayed before i bought the car (nothing major) and it was terribly done and its not an exact colour match in some lights. And every time i wash the car the respray job looks worse and the finish is getting worse. So i just want to get another one rather than messing about re-painting it etc.

Thanks davidv10, how is the cabin noise level is it ok, and is fitment good?

    Thanks

The cabin noise level is great if you are under 3k revs or just cruising. And then it bursts into life when you put your foot down.

Fitment is great and the exhaust tips are level and fit within the bumper well. If i was being extremely picky, i would have liked the tips to stick slightly further out, like a cm or so, with the Nismo bumper. But thats just personal preference.

  5. I have the Stillen on my Mk2 Nismo, and i love it. It has no drown (major thing for me) and isnt insanely loud, which is good as its my daily. But it sounds great when you floor it.

And with the EcuTek remap and just stock cats it still burbles nicely coming off the gas.

Where did you get this USB extender from, i've just ordered the niftycity box but would rather an install like there where the usb port is still useable

Yeh amazon and ebay have loads of extenders, however i specifically bought one with mounting clips at the side/back to easily mount and hold it where the stock usb port goes. Rather than a standard extender with no mounting option. So i got one of the below:

If you're going to go to those lengths you might as well get a plate flipper and the bumper holes filled.

Nothing worse then seeing a relocated plate and two great holes in the bumper

I did look at the magnetic plate option and filling the holes in my bumper. Then glueing on some magnets to the rear of the bumper.

It seems easy enough, but its not always that simple. Anyone done this before?

this looks great! where did you get the cap toppers from?

Just on Ebay, and they werent expensive at all:

Also you cant really see from the pics, but they have a thin layer of metal in them so they arent flimsy at all.

Nice one, i have been looking  for some time myself, i have spoken to rays wheels uk, as the wheels are rays wheels but made for nissan  as a oem wheel the centres fitment is unique to Nissan unfortunately, so rays wheels do not have anything that will fit;)

Yeh that does seem silly. And its even more weird i think that no aftermarket company has taken them on. They arent exactly hard to make

  10. Tiny update this one. I have looked around for ages for Nismo centre caps but no-one seems to make them for the 370z alloys  (54mm off the top of my head). I did however see Nismo adhesive centre cap toppers, that were slightly larger than the centre caps.

So i decided to get creative, got another set of standard Nissan centre caps that looked like the Nissan badge just popped off, and it did. So i popped the nissan badges off them and then stuck the Nismo toppers onto them and popped them in to the alloys. The way the alloys are, they are fine being a little larger than the centre caps and sit perfectly. The adhesive seems strong and they shouldnt come off.

And so i now have Nismo centre caps...

Excuse the distorted picture, but this is what they look like.

  11. I did exactly this, and went from an early GT model to a MK2 Nismo. Although in a nutshell they are the the same car, there are loads of things i loved about upgrading! And in my view it was so worth it!

    - The MK2 nismo bodykit is just worlds above the GT. I already purchased a Nismo front bumper for the GT, and planned to get the rear as well.

    - The Recaro seats completely change the interior and are so nice! (I lost heated and electric seats but because of the look of them i dont care!)

    - The Nismo is on stiffer springs and dropped slightly. And has extra strut bars for stiffness. It definitely handles better!

    - It has wider rear tires (285 rather than 275) which is nice in the wet.

    - There were more small differences for me as mine was an 09 model. So i gained a rear view camera, touch screen, updated sat nav.

    - And lastly you get to say you have a Nismo :D
