This is a good installation guide i used, thanks to Hodaka
http://www.350z-uk.c...tle +controller
The connector block i'm referring to is in step 3 (photo), he has used sellotape to hold them together where a cable tie can be used.
Hope this helps

Hi,
My little bits worth,
I have the same controller, when i initially installed the D1 all i got was the same as you reported a few flickers, after a bit of web searching i found out the connector block between the controller and your accelerator can be pushed together 180 deg out,
As soon as i pushed them together and cable tied, all works correctly, Wondered why there was a large cable tie in the box
A bit peculiar, what i thought was the logical way to connect the blocks together, Wasn't, i had to turn one block 180 deg, push together, then Cable Tie.
Now All Good, Works well

As much as i am enjoying my 350Z i need a little bit more luggage space for traveling
While i'm back for Christmas there might be someone looking for a nice 350z while i'm on the lookout for a Skyline 350GT.
Here she is:

Other than these few changes the car is stock standard.
Battle Scars to the Bumpers.
I received a very kind parking scar to the rear left lower quarter panel which i had an emergency repair done to seal out the winter conditions, needs a final paint matching, otherwise there's no rust that i've seen around the bodywork
Rear tyres needed replacing so i put a couple of new winter tyres on the rear (budget) As i've been working in Europe.
Some more photos to follow.
With new MOT
£5900.00 ONO
Located Farnborough, GU14 Area

After all the advice i reinstalled the OEM cats, until i get all the induction and mapping done,
by the way there is a spade connector very close to the passenger Cat, don't bump this off as i did, your Zed won't start. (nothing, no click, no tick, nothing) lol

Hello and to the forum

I have one somewhere, driver's side I think in black fibreglass with a chipped corner. I'll try to find it tomorrow and send you few pics
Thanks
I'm looking for a pair of these vents if anyone has some lying around,i would like them to be in fiberglass, not necessarily in Carbon and if they are damaged that's ok.

Think i'll be putting the Cats back on again, but it's so smooth with the de-cats,
I really didn't want to spend a fortune on the car as this is my first Zed, and I'm contemplating selling and buying an automatic.
I agree with what Irn Bru is saying and i think i'll hold off the up-rev until i get the Zed i'm completely happy with and then customize accordingly.
Thanks for the input guys

If you don't want to splash for upRev, get a cheap code reader to make it easy to check the code and clear as needed.
Which is the better code reader to get

2004 DE Standard apart from,
Invidia True Dual System, With Silenced DE-Cats,
The engine light came on so i got some Lambda Spacers, it's seems to be ok pottering around until i start driving her the way she should be driven.
Then the light comes on again until the dance be done, Not going into limp mode just the light is on. (i presume the second Lambda sensor)
Do i need a re-map or maybe an induction kit
The engine is standard and didn't really want to go down the up-rev route
Any tips or tricks to avoid the engine light coming on
