  1. Hi,

    My little bits worth,

I have the same controller, when i initially installed the D1 all i got was the same as you reported a few flickers, after a bit of web searching i found out the connector block between the controller and your accelerator can be pushed together 180 deg out,

As soon as i pushed them together and cable tied, all works correctly, Wondered why there was a large cable tie in the box

A bit peculiar, what i thought was the logical way to connect the blocks together, Wasn't, i had to turn one block 180 deg, push together, then Cable Tie.

    Now All Good, Works well

  3. I have one somewhere, driver's side I think in black fibreglass with a chipped corner. I'll try to find it tomorrow and send you few pics

    Thanks

I'm looking for a pair of these vents if anyone has some lying around,

i would like them to be in fiberglass, not necessarily in Carbon and if they are damaged that's ok.

  5. Think i'll be putting the Cats back on again, but it's so smooth with the de-cats,

I really didn't want to spend a fortune on the car as this is my first Zed, and I'm contemplating selling and buying an automatic.

I agree with what Irn Bru is saying and i think i'll hold off the up-rev until i get the Zed i'm completely happy with and then customize accordingly.

    Thanks for the input guys

  6. 2004 DE Standard apart from,

Invidia True Dual System, With Silenced DE-Cats,

The engine light came on so i got some Lambda Spacers, it's seems to be ok pottering around until i start driving her the way she should be driven.

Then the light comes on again until the dance be done, Not going into limp mode just the light is on. (i presume the second Lambda sensor)

Do i need a re-map or maybe an induction kit

The engine is standard and didn't really want to go down the up-rev route

Any tips or tricks to avoid the engine light coming on
