The Milton Keynes meets seem to be getting larger and larger now, last time we had 12 350s and 3 370s (including a couple of Nismo's). Seem to picking a few up from the facebook group as well which is nice. So..... Next meet will be Tuesday 6th June 7pm Car park by the MK Dons stadium. Unit A8 MK1 Shopping Park Stadium Way, Milton Keynes, MK1 1ST Let's meet where we usually do, and then move the cars for a new photo once we've all turned up. Mine also won't be pristine as a bodged autoglass repair has left my car not suitable for washing until it's replaced.....just hope any rain this week isn't too heavy!

Well...... update time. I requested OEM glass rather than replacement pilkinton glass. Seemed like a simple request? They wanted to check with the insurer that they would pay the difference. (I assumed they'd pay a bit towards it and i'd foot the rest, therefore, if it was £50 more for proper Nissan glass i'd be happy to pay it) Nearly two weeks later, 2 complaints via my insurer and 8 phone calls later I have a quote. £850+ for Nissan glass ON TOP of what the insurer would pay (approx £200).....oh yeah and don't forget the £75 excess Pilkington glass it is then...... Edit: And the crack is now about 12 inches long, that frost the other night didn't help! Going to look pretty at Japfest

Purely out of interest, what was the outcome of yours? The thread went a little quiet.. Regardless, i'll be using autoglass and i will be doing a video documenting the condition of my car in all the areas people have mentioned above before they commence work.

Thanks guys, finally got through to DirectLine who instantly directed me to AutoGlass. I inquired about using actual Nissan glass but have been informed i would have to pay the difference and i would have to wait a minimum of 3 weeks whilst they locate or even manufacture. I also asked about the exterior rubber trim, they told me they would only refit existing and would not replace it. For my own sanity i will remove the A & B pillars before the technician arrives so thanks for the heads up, found a relatively decent write up on the american forum so will give that a go. They have the glass in stock and a fitter ready for Saturday, i cant wait 3 plus weeks or paying out extra so looks like this is as good as it gets.

I'm guessing that it's a little easier to get hold of GT-R glass as they're still making them or at least not as old for the older models. Hope I can get some genuine Nissan glass and surrounds otherwise I'll just have to settle for whatever they can get hold of. Luckily(?!) my windscreen was already scratched on the opposite side from the previous owner not replacing windscreen wipers regularly enough so will get rid of that!!

Argh! Hope not, think I have a separate section for windscreen cover but can't check as my policy documents are at home and I'm not and the insurers are closed until at least tomorrow.

50mph'ish stone impact cracked my windscreen this afternoon. Will ring the insurance company tomorrow and see what the deal is but has anyone had any issues getting it replaced due to the age of the cars??

We had a good turnout last night so good time to get the next meet organised. This has become a regular thing over the last year and half and keen to keep it going. Get a few new faces every now and again so would be good to keep growing, think the largest turn out so far was 13 zed's. Last night we equalled that so let's see if we can outgrow it this time. Let's park either side of the centre walkway. People usually empty out from the shops from 7 onwards so its always getting quieter and any cars are normally gone by 8ish.
