  1. From what ive read. The HR models have unreal air flow as standard with the exhaust spec and dual air intakes. So the question is, do I bother even trying to make an already fast car faster? Just part ex'd my 350bhp Impreza STI and that LOVED breathing mods. A turbo inlet manifold for a couple hundred quid would get you 30bhp. Full exhaust systems gettin an extra 50bhp. My live map alone with full breathing mods gained me 50bhp. But I feel this isn't the way to go with this type of car? Is there any real way to go without spending £1000s?

  2. These cars have crazy running costs. Pick the car up tomorrow. So sorting tax at £505 a year. And I'm paying over £200 to insure for the remaining 6 months!! And that's changing from an Impreza STI, one of the highest insurance cars you can own!

  3. Thanks for the advice over the last few days. It's helped massively in deciding what to get. Checked under the bulged bonnet and it did indeed have dual air intakes. Grey, RAYS wheels, GT pack. 48000 miles. Services all less than 8k apart. Ran like a dream. I'll post some pics when I pick it up one day this week!

  4. Well looks like I'm getting a zed this week!! Seen a nice 07 plate that has characteristics of a HR (bonnet bulge) and in title it says 313 GT. But I've seen a 57 plate that didn't have a bonnet bulge. Could that be more to do with when they are registered? Is it only the HRs that have bi xenons? If so are the lights on the pic bi xenons? Thanks for any input :)
