  1. Up to now i have never left it more than 2 weeks with the cover fitted. We had a lot of rain, and all was bone dry, no musky smells. So i cannot really comment on moisture repellants.I only intend to keep it covered for the worst of our weather. What i intend to do is,take it out at least ounce a month for a spin. Wash dry polish and recovover when im not going to use it.

  2. I got one of these same on e-bay 400433618080 storm force around £150. Worth spending that little big extra for a good quality cover. Supposed to be tailored not a bad fit though. Bit of a bugger to put on by yourself if its windy. And yes ensure your car is nice and clean and dry before fitting.

  3. I had a similar problem on my roadster passenger window, I found that if I flicked the window lock button situated on the drivers door the same time as operating the window switch, again on the drivers door it worked. You can actually here the relay clicking in and out when you do this. Its happened to me several times. My hood sometimes fails to lock down, I found that it being a little damp, mohair type it swells a bit. Also if its cold it wont lock down.

  5. Never the less was a good day `ish` out. We hung around waiting for the stragglers, but there wasn't any. So we mounted our wagons and explored, dodged the Sherriff and his men. Went up the pass, 2 of us split and headed for cover, whilst the third was left to do some sheep rustling. Cheers Guys, until the next time.
