That's the same brace I have on my zed and it's not a replacement for the w brace your referring to, the gt spec one sits a lot further forward so it's under the gearbox and the w is just in front of the rear subframe. I don't think the w brace is in that photo as it will be right on top of the camera so just out of shot ahh thats whats confusing me then, i thought it replaced w brace,, im still buying one ha,,i want as much bracing upgrading that is possible,, i want my chassis to have as little flex as possible.

this is brace i am refering too,, cant see the rusty w anywhere,,

are you sure the o.e one has to stay in place?? as aftermarket ones use egsisting holes in chassis,,, are we talking about the same brace here? its the one that is sort of w shaped underneath the car, the exhaust runs over the top of it,,,

as title says, need a new chassis brace as when i got my buddy club exhaust fitted i noticed chassis brace looked like it had just been salvaged from the seabed,, cant have that,,, so any experience of members owning either would help,, i have only mentioned gt spec and ultra racing as they were only ones i could find,, if anyone knows of a better one that would be helpfull also,, cheers.

not sure, its a 2005 jdm anniversary model, lights have a blue tinge when on, The easiest way to find out is if you face a wall at night and turn your lights on, they will appear to take a second to "warm up" they will come on instantly, but will get brighter over a couple of seconds. Do you have headlight washers? no headlight washers, came with rear and front cameras, rear is controlled by reverse gear, and for front 2 cameras there is a button fitted to side of footwell that lights up red and has jap writing on it,,

im just a realy bad flapper when it comes to my cars ,ha, i love it and wasnt sure what oil it had in it off last owner, was just wanting to know worst that could happen to gauge whether or not to wait until end of month for full service,, never owned a road car that i liked driving as much in my life,, i will never be selling it,, getting the old shogun sport through its mot for winter so zed can rest under cover until next spring when im treating her to a full respray,,, theres another 3 grand i wont get back ha,, but doesnt matter as its staying put..

yeah im aware of what grade fuel to put in and what weight oil to put in, just wasnt sure about mixing it that was my question, havnt got time to do full oil change as have no access to a car lift, will get it serviced at the end of the month, just topped it up as was half way down dipstick which i know is safe but im a fanny,,, had lots and lots of sports cars over the years and also have a formula jedi in the process of building,, just wasnt sure about mixing mineral and synthetic as have been informed you cant buy fully mineral anymore,,

my zed needs a slight top up and not sure what oil is in it,,, told the local car shop guy and he suggested putting synthetic in so i bought a small top up bottle, but if my car has mineral oil in it will the synthetic turn the oil to crap?? have put half a litre in,,, was going to use semi synthetic but bloke advised fully synthetic,,,,

i need a new passenger headlight as mine has been splashed with paint stripper or something coprrosive, tried pollishing it out but its almost all the way through,, my question is can i fit a uk model headlight in a jdm car? or are the plugs in the harness different on jdm? if so is there any way to convert mine to accept uk headlight,, anyone had this problem,, new light is £1000 so looks like second hand one is the order of the day.

as title says, i have a standard 350z gt4 with standard gt4 wheels, can i fit 25mm wheel spacers front and back without rubbing? anyone got any experience on the matter,,,

im watching this thread with much interest as i also have gt4 although mine is an jdm version and im doing the same to mine, just changed full exhaust, plenum chamber spacer next, what mileage is yours mate,,

yeah was looking at miltek before i bought buddy club, very nice exhaust, well made with good reviews, only ended up with buddy club as i liked the twin end cans,, pluss it seemed more fitting to have a jap exhaust on my jap import,, ive even left the jap tax sticker on windscreen,, im proud it an import,,, that may sound strange but its true,,,,,

just fitted one,, build quality is exellent, not bad around the streets but roars when taken up past 4000rpm and quite loud at 3000rpm and i have fitted baffles too, but im very happy with it and it will be staying on the car for good,, was going to fit some high flow cats but that might make it a tad too loud im not sure,,

well had the buddy club pro spec fitted a few days ago and im very happy with quality, its on the loud side above 3000rpm thats with the baffles in,, but it sounds nice and i can still drive around streets without reving too high, it must be the newest version as its different from pics online, mine has 4 springs holding y pipe ends,, also has not got the jubilee clip type brackets on end cans, they are welded brackets like on the rest of the system which looks more clean from behind i think,, also i noticed online pics of the pro spec exhaust were of a dull unpolished piping after the end cans and mine is highly polished right through, anyone else got a buddy club pro spec like this?

the 350z is a sports car mate,, why wouldnt you want it de-limited, no matter what site i am on there is always someone like this who in reality is not an actual fan of driving so tyes to make everyone who is interested in driving is made to feel like a law breaker,,, the speed limit is 70mph so you best tell nissan to restrict your car to that,, sorry but fools like that wind me up!

well tried to get an exhaust sorted but found it hard as i dont use paypal so dont want to ues the fleabay, tried getting phone number for torqen but seems they dont have one listed, so tried tarmac sports but guy wasnt there when i phoned and the fella who answerd phone said he didnt know what exhausts they had for a 350z and told me to phone back later,, so,, tryed revolution in gateshead who said they could only get half the miltek system they had advertised online which was no good,,, so went online to another place which name escapes me and ordered a buddyclub system got to check out and said card was being declined,,, so thought to hell with it and got an issue of fast car magazine looked in the dealers section found buddy clubs number gave them a ring and finaly found someone who knew how to do buissness,,,, phewww what a week ive had ha,,
