  1. GTA'er here. I'm rather addicted.

I'm waiting for the day they release a 350z or 370z. That would make me rather happy.

If you have the PC version you can get both from GTA Mods:

Sadly on PS4, but thanks. Seen some of the mods for Porsches, Audis and BMWs and they looks insanely good.

I'll stick with the GTR. It's free and goes like stink! If only it were free in the real world.

  2. I'm 6'3

    I'm 6ft7

    I'm 6'3

This is odd, but can I just say it's nice to hear from normal sized people.

I'm 6'6... what is it with tall people liking Zeds?

I think it's pretty good on head height, that's always what I struggle with in cars.

I put the steering wheel up which is good for the legs, but because my seat is low it feels too high.

  3. I had a 350z and I thought they were some of the most comfortable seats ever. I could drive for hours and hours and it always felt really supported.

I read up lots about a 370z and everyone was saying they seats were uncomfortable (compared to a 350z) and I certainly noticed the difference, I found them uncomfortable at first. However, I've played around with the seat so many times and I've got it about right.

Something that may help you.... When I was trying to get the seat right, I discovered a small lever half way down the side of the seat (so to the left of your chest) and turing this level increases/decreases the support right in the middle. If it's fully turned then it can feel like something is digging in your back and then if it's turned the other way that's when I felt it didn't offer enough support.

My lever is pointing upwards and towards the windscreen. if you looked at it from the passenger seat, it would be between 10 and 11.

Give that a go and see if it helps.

  4. Hello!

Do all 370z have the synco rev match or did they come in on a certain year or are they only on the GT pack (and above) models?

My friend is considering buying one, but I own an automatic 370z and all the manual ones I test drove had it but were the same spec.

    Thanks,

  5. Had my 370 a month now, went for the auto but as yet not convinced paddle shift is right for me,at times when I want to change up all I get is an annoying beep and I'm held in the gear the box chooses,so I find myself being lazy and leaving it in auto. However I love the look and the way it goes !

What revs are you at when you try to shift up? as far as I can tell from 1 to 5 it has to be at or above 2k before it will shift up which is fine. If you try to drive it like a normal gearbox in manual it wont be happy, use each gear as you shift up or down and it behaves much more reasonably. I only use manual when I want to put on a bit of pace and it reacts perfectly.

    I agree.

The beeping noise does happen, but only when I'm trying to change up in manual mode at 2000rpm or under, but that's too low to be changing up in manual mode, it's not a Prius and it's not a minicab!

To me, manual mode is sport mode, I switch to it when I want the drive to be fun (which is almost all the time), I only go into auto if stuck in traffic on the motorway or car parks.

  6. I was an owner of a manual DE 350z for just under two years and I've been the owner of a Black Edition auto 370z for two months and I'm loving it.

As for the auto thing, I've always been a big believer in manual sports cars and against automatics, but I test drove a couple of manuals and a couple of autos and the paddles convinced me I'd be happy to make the switch and I'm really enjoying it so far. I wouldn't say it's better than the manual, but for me, I was pleasantly surprised and then it meant I could look at both the manuals and autos, then the perfect auto came available (a quartz coloured Black edition) and I went for it. However, some people are dead against the autos, so I'd recommend test driving both.

The 350z is a fantastic car for the money and the 370z is no different. It's a jump up in cost, but it's also a jump up in quality, looks and performance. It's like they've taken everything about the 350z and improved it slightly.

The great thing is my car is a 2011 model but it feels like the interior of a brand new car. I sat in some new ones at Nissan and they're exactly the same, so the interior doesn't feel 5/6 years old. The only thing the newer ones had was a reversing camera, but I might add that myself.

With anything I'm reviewing, I don't like to just give positives, so the negatives are the exhaust note is too quiet (similar to the 350z). Also, if you're going from a 350z DE to a 370z, it's double the road tax, but then you don't buy this car to save the pennies. On the subject of cost, I'm finding the MPG is a little better than in my 350z. You'll see lots of different numbers flying around, but I got around 20mpg in my 350z and I'm currently getting around 25mpg in the 370z.

If you love the 350z, then I can't see how you won't love a 370z.

  7. I'm averaging around 25mpg, which is a little better than i got in my 350z.

I do a 70/30 split on town/motorway driving. Haven't been for a long motorway drive yet, so looking forward to seeing how high I can get the mpg.

  8. Hello I've just joined site after getting a card out on my screen. I'm the chilli red owner.

I've been waiting 2 years to be spotted in my 350z or 370z. Still nothing! Yet, you're already in dreamland on post number 1, I'm very jealous!!!!
