Method was Rinse Snow foam Rinse Wash Clar bar Rinse Wash Rinse Light compound Polish Wax (It was the detailing meguirs kit) Using a kestrel dual action polisher I know meguirs isnt the best but wanted to try it.

having a silver said I have found I need to work twice as hard as dark colours to get it looking good! Anyway after hours if prep this was the end result of 4 hours of effort...

Having a nightmare with photo bucket! took 30mins to load that one! Will try though guys..gimmie 5mins (or 20 lol)

So before Christmas I bought a used Nismo spoiler then sourced a local company who just started out hydrodipping, so I thought rather than going the normal route and just spraying it I would get it dipped. I opted for a carbon fibre weave with the base of the weave being the same paint code as the car itself, then have the base of the spoiler sprayed the same colour also, let me know what you guys think I now have some Nismo rear spats and Tarmac side skirts that I am hoping to get hydrodipped sooner and get them on to complete the luck

Im contemplating getting back into another hobby and my 350 wont serve any use for what I need I was wondering what value you guys think it has 2006 rev up engine silver gt spec inc sat nav black leater, rays etc 56k miles fsh but due p2 soon Rear 3 windows tinted magnaflow decats scorpion back box in great condition bar few kerbings on alloys.

So I had some decats fitted over a week ago and after reading up on it I knew there was a chance the cel would come on but after having them fitted bonus no light! Driving to work today and cel has come on....anyone know if its happened to anyone where there has been a delay where cel comes on or do we think im looking at another issue? Oh and wheres best to go to get the fault code read? Ive looked at the pedal dance thing but dont fancy my chances of doing it right!

I know this is a huge long shot but I cant find what is making this noise. If car is stationary and its revved all is fine. But driving and accelerating through rev range from 2kish to 3kish there is what sounds like a loose heat shield rattle but the sheilds are fine ive checked...its worse when I first get into the car if a morning or if engine is cold. any thoughts?

Its in the body shop now, so will see what happens. Meanwile im welcoming the whiplash..ughhh....had it 7 years ago, worst pain ever

Thanks jimmy..just been out to look at in daylight...going to need new back bumper :-(...when he hit me there was a slight sideways movement as hes hit my rear passenger corner

On m6 last night slowing down from 70 to 50 and someone still doing 70ish goes into back of me ffs...get out car and for some reason cant see any damage to rear bumper but both vsc and anti skid light come up on dash and wont go out. Got to where I was going turned engine off and on and lights go off. Got his ins details so still taking car to garage next week to get checked out..I have no luck with this car! I do not know if I and him have been extremely lucky with me still mo ing at 50 at the time but want rear bumper taking off to check crash bars as obviously the bumper would of flexed and the lights on dash have concerned me.

The dish on those second wheels!!!!! ££££££

Bought myself a kestral polisher finally..question is which way is best to get the colour from a a dark blue colour car b a silver car paint cleaner by hand or polisher and which cutting compound by polisher I am guessing.

Has this finished now mate?

Picked up a second hand spoiler the other week and dropped it straight in at hydro dippers.....decided on base being the same colour as my car then the top half black carbon with a silver weave (the same colour as the car again) It has had a clear candy coat added which should make the silver ping in sunshine (if we ever get any) Just need to get it on the car now! All bubble wrapped ready for Jan when I should be going on!
