  1. What colour do you want to go ? Would it not be easier to sell yours and buy a set in the desired colour?

I'm not too sure yet, possibly black but it's a bit boring! I did think that but I enjoy doing these things myself, if you take your time and get proper advice you can get decent enough results! And if it all goes belly up you can always pay someone to do it 😂

  2. Sooo, after looking extensively for replacement seats for the 350z to no avail I've decided to modify the current seats. I couldn't decide on any seats as I wanted leather, heated and able to fit harnesses (Not for any track work, I just prefer the strapped-in feeling) without spending in excess of £3k. Not possible for my picky nature. I'm not a massive fan of the Alezan interior parts, I do like it, it's just not my first choice. So after reviewing a few videos and pages on dyeing leather, how well it comes out and the simplicity of doing this.

So has anyone done this before?

  3. Works a treat ðŸ‘🼠I tried the stuffing method but it eventually started to fail again. for anyone that isn't great with a soldering iron, if you send me your amp I'll happily replace the offending relay. As long as you cover postage & the price of the relay 😉

  6. They are selling them for £109.00 on ebay now anyway, you don't need a group buy to achieve this price.

The group buy would be for £100 posted, they have them up for £109 plus £10 posted until Monday. You're very welcome to take them at the higher price ðŸ˜

  7. Okay so after some deliberation the price is going to be around £100 with postage, but duty has to be covered on your end. Instead of messing around with deposits, places etc we are talking about a forum wide discount. But there's still more to be discussed, they are also interested in some ideas for future products.

  9. I believe it was the import tax of which ruined the potential of the previous group buy

Would that not have to be paid anyway if you were to order them yourself?

  10. So I've arranged a massive discount for these, £105 delivered to your door. No duty or tax to pay.

    Ebay numbers 321839829538 & 331634352751

So you just have to email carlab at

    Carlabmarketing@gmail.com

State you want the discounted 350z rear led lights by Tuck and wether you want smoked or clear, they'll reply and send a PayPal invoice. Pay the invoice of £105 and you've got yourself a very decent mod ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

    Guide to fitting them,

    http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/104429-fitting-carlab-rear-led-indicators/

These look excellent and are of a very good quality, these would look amazing with a set of LED lights from Ewan at Clark Motorsport!

I'm not making any money from this or getting any more discount than you guys! So buy these up for the reduced price and get rid of that ghastly red fog light!

  11. Okay, so I've asked about a group buy and they've agreed. Here's the response;

    Hey

Yes of course we will happy to do it.

I just want to say that all import duty will be on your side because the parcel will be quiet big carton so they may stopped in the customs.

I can make a low value for 20-10 usd per unit but still they may stop the parcel in the customs.

About the price on ebay we will on 114.95+11.95=127.00GBP per set

I can offer you 109.00gbp per set

total 105X10=1050.00gbp for 10sets included shipping to UK.

Please let me know if you guys accept and I will send you invoice.

    Miranda ye

    I'll set up w group buy ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

  12. Been on my watch list for a while now, I have a couple USA mates they have them there pretty good from what they say

I've messaged them regarding a group buy ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

  13. Buy genuine. Anything else just won't last in a car cabin!

You can buy it on eBay: here - that listing's for a 0.5 metre length.

Or you can get it from UK Hide: here.

Both of those suppliers carry the genuine article. And it's not cheap - usually around £100 per metre length. Anything other than the proper stuff just won't last long inside a car... the sunlight will start to fade it almost immediately!

This one from Poland seems to be decent enough, thoughts?

No. Alcantara doesn't come in widths of 50cms - it comes in widths of 150cms. So it's either been cut down or it's replica. I'd be very surprised if that turned out to be genuine!

Also, only two of the colour codes match anything listed in the Alcantara brochure I have in front of me. So that fills me with doubt as well.

I know people want to save pennies here and there but seriously, this is one fabric that it's just not worth scrimping on... buy the proper stuff or buy it twice

You can buy suede with adhesive back, real Alcantara is so expensive and get a similar result with faux suede.

Except faux suede has no UV protection whatsoever and will fade in the sunlight! There's a very good reason why Alcantara costs as much as it does... ;)

Mine lasted very well didnt fade in well over a year and whilst i fully admit i would love the genuine article, i reckon i could afford to do it 5 x over for the cost of the real thing.

So what would it cost to do the two facing panels in real alcantara?

    350interior3_zpsb542761c.jpg

I think that looks pretty good for £40 ish quid or whatever it cost me at the time ;)

To wrap the Centre console, did you sand it flat or wrap over the top of the bumps?

  14. Looks a bit faded to me or is that just the camera? Would the passenger airbag still work ok?

It think this was covered in another thread, the airbag has enough power to break through the alcantara. I'm not too worried about it as I've seen an airbag go off and a thin layer at alcantara won't be enough to stop it. Regardless I'll be making perforations in the alcantara where the airbag is located

It's too small anyway, I need at least 50 cm width for the dash to be done, and yeah it's buy the good stuff or buy twice!
