  1. Mine occasionally cuts out when the music is playing, it reconnects again but I have to play the song again. Slightly annoying but I've just started plugging my phone into the USB port

  2. I would go with the 100Y XL, Ewan and I looked into this and we found that the XL was the best suited for the weight of the car.

  4. Yeah I wasn't happy with anything to do with the spoiler once it had arrived, fitment was awful and poorly made. It was cracking in places and the holes would never allow rivets to be used! This was from g.r.a.m.s styling and it should of gone back, but curiosity and hopefulness got the better of me 🙄

  5. I had this spoiler but brought from epr, fitment was awful and I didn't like the fact it doesn't cover the width of the boot so looks a little stuck on I think, I've emailed greddy about costs of a genuine one including shipping and import charges

I had emailed Greddy but they wanted ludacris money for the spoiler! This car was sold not 2 weeks after this monstrosity was fitted

  6. Nice 1 Tuck,

Sounds like you got yourself a good deal,

Look forward to seeing the pics once you've picked her up.

Aye the salesman probably hates me but If I'm dishing out £20k for a car I want a decent deal. Yeah pics on Friday if I remember!

  7. Can't really do much more than that!

    Very true Tuck,

I've found out the hard way a couple of times its a of a leap of faith when you buy a 2nd hand car,

Was the 2011 silver 370z at Nissan Perth that you've gone for or another.

As have I! I've gone for another one at Arnold clark. The Perth one wasn't very well looked after. Higher miles too. Salesman didn't take much off of the car and there was a lot that needed sorting. Mechanically it was okay but the body work and interior was in similar condition to my 2005 350z. 3 previous owners and 35,000 miles. Got £500 off the price. So I twisted Arnold clarks arm with Nissans offer and vise-versa until I found the managers limit. Got nearly £1500 off the asking price and £5,000 for my old car. Went for a 2011 black GT edition with 23,000. Full Nissan service history etc. HPI Clear and my mechanic is going to check it over on Tuesday.

  8. So where did you go for this one, private or dealer?

    From a dealer,

Not a main dealer but found an immaculate 12 plate from a 2nd hand dealer who sells top end cars,

It was a lot of money to me but it was one of their cheaper cars,

They were selling £80/90k 2nd hand cars like Audi R8's and Porsche's.

In my experience private dealers are far easier to deal with and will sort things out on the car once the money has been handed over.

My question is why walk away from the 2011 plate with low miles, because it had 4 previous owners or that it was scuffed etc?

    A bit of both Tuck,

I could have accepted the ammount of owners if the car was immaculate,

There was 3 areas of damage on the paintwork that the dealer was going to get touched up, plus a few scuffs inside,

Personally i think the dealer should have sorted any damage then advertised it.

Ioneabee i will give details once i got her, i would hate to jinx anything.

Yeah that does question the transparency of some dealers. Some people would happily drop £21k plus all their pricey warrantees (that'll never pay out) and some expensive paint protection program (equivalent of a wash n' wax) when the car has already been washed at the dealership, with the sponge equivalent of a brick.

They won't fix anything that the buy hasn't pointed out. Nissan Perth point blank refused to replace a cracked headlight as it cost £1400 ish!

I've just put a deposit down on a 2011 370 with 4 previous owners, got worried that this might be a mistake, but I've driven the car twice and my own mechanic is going to have a look, drive and plug in a reader for any previous problems or underlying problems.
