Still yet to hear anything

I will try take a photo today after work dodgyrev. I am struggling with this photo bucket lark as I really want to put a photo of my z up also. I have a photo bucket account but I do it through the app as I never use my laptop. Would copying the direct link form the app and pasting it do the job?
Thanks
If you never use your laptop and browse on phone/iPad then download Tapatalk app. Can upload photos straight from your phone library.

I got mine last month, '04 Gunmetal with the DE engine. £7,500 and it has only 37k with full Nissan service history.
Oh and it has the GT pack with Rays alloys. If it was me I'd rather get a lower model with low mileage and full history than stretch my budget to something that could cost me a lot in repairs/servicing

Quite a few of us around here, get yourself over to the Falcon Performance meet first weekend in April. Went to my first one last month, top lads who are very welcoming.
I'm from Thornaby, look forward to seeing you around!

I didn't do mine (no balls ) but something my guy said might be worth noting. When the bumper was being baked the bumper and filler started to react differently to the heat and you could see the outline of the holes become apparent. Naturally they backed off the heat and in the end it was left to dry over a few days. The finish is spot on now.
Good luck
I'll have to bare that in mind, appreciate it!
I'm going to use the existing recess and cut it out, pull it forward then plastic weld

The calibre of the cars they have in the workshop are a testament to their work.
Not only that, you could eat your dinner off their workshop floor (not advised though)
-
Yes, but it you get a smooth enough finish sanding P40, then you will not need any P38
Looking forward to it, seems simple enough.
Appreciate all the help

If you have a motor factor that sells paint and sundries, ask for a tin of ISOPON P40 glass fibre compound. Its for bridging and repairing holes. Flat down with wet or dry paper afterwards then present to the bodyshop for paint. HALFRAUDS stock this item if desperate.
Halfrauds hahaa!
Awesome, thanks! Will the P40 be adequate to fill the holes left from behind the number plate? About the size of a 2p coin I believe.
Just apply it from behind first, sand back then apply P38 over the top?

I used fibreglass and filler to achieve mine, this was on a second attempt though, on my first i just used filler and over the course of about a month the filler sank back and you could see where the badge would've sat through the paint. Filler and fibreglass has done the trick though.
This was done with putting the fibre glass in first and then the filler on top to get the smooth finish?
-
The recess you should be able to just use body filler, as for the holes I would perhaps be looking to apply some fibreglass on the back then fill over from the front
I've heard of horror stories of bits like this cracking or falling out. Any idea how to avoid this?

Hi all,
I am looking to smooth my front bumper (badge recess and number plate holes) on the GM 350.
Ringing around for quotes and as I'm sure you're aware it gets pretty expensive due to labour costs.
Well me and my brother have had the idea of prepping the car ourselves, get it somewhere near and only pay the body shop to finish off and spray.
I've always wanted to do this work myself and me and my brother, who has been a mechanic for over 15 years, are no dab hands at this but know our way around simple paint prepping.
Just wondering if there's anyone on here who has done this themselves before? What's the best way of filling the holes and the recess to prevent future cracking and any other tips on the prep?
I know patience and time are the major factors so we won't be skimping on those.
Thanks in advance,
Mikey
P.S. Please don't comment with 'just get the body shop to do it', I'm looking for people who have done this and succeeded, not those who haven't had the balls to do it.

Seen this outside my office, nice looking and looked like it had the GT4 wheels.

Can't help but think this is a bit of a clickbait post...
"The coolest car in the world right now is the BMW i8"
Which was on Top Gear...
Stupid cow.

Seems a bit like the 'OMG there's going to be no page 3 anymore!! I must buy the last one!!' *day later* oh it's back, surprise surprise, another publicity stunt.
As previously said, all three presenters wouldn't be making jokes if he genuinely did 'punch' someone. As far as I'm aware the closest thing that's been alleged to be a punch is that the BBC said he had aimed one. Bit suspicious how they won't comment any further (whilst they wait for everyone to jump on the new story, then air the show as normal with double the viewing figures)
Even bad publicity is publicity, publicity = money...

He has a new message:
Hi there,
VERY interested in the car, however would like a bit more info before I commit to a purchase.
Do you have any dyno printouts of the power? I'm not very clued up about these cars so I'm a little skeptical off an almost 100bhp power increase without forced induction. I presume it must be that these engines must be very tuned down at standard so only a few mods to get a lot of power?
Also, you say this has been owned by club members. Which club is this as I would like to find a bit more information on the history, maybe from a project thread from the previous owner?
I cannot seem to find anything online regarding the sponsor 'SEBON'? What do they do?
Was the red interior an optional extra?
When was the respray done? It says in the ad 'paintwork is 11 years old' to which you then go on to say it has had a recent respray.
Just clarifying as I have cash waiting, looking for my next show/weekend car and seems too good to miss!

Not that I noticed, his exit was rather, speedy to say the least

Seen you a few times there, always loved the car and it was actually yours that planted the seed for me to buy one.
Made a nice exit tonight as well

What are those purple pipes in the engine bay and where did you get them from? Might have to steal your idea
Interesting car for somebody

Finally got back to me! Sounds to me like a genuine car garage going off what they've been told by previous owner. Although the car got slated, the guys selling it seem genuine. They've even doubted the BHP now and are getting a print out of their own.
"hi mike thanks for your question we have just ended the listing due to some question marks around cars back ground we have got the car booked for a dyno test next week to get a proof of the bhp we did have a dyno from the previius owner handed to us showing 395.6 bhp but we are going ahead to get one done for our self to answer few questions asked off us. we took the car as a px towards my evo so dont have to much history but have got folder full of invoices with car and was advised it has been a club owners car so will be checking this info with hopefully some one from the nissan 350z owners club who can shad some light on this in reff to the car it self its drives spot on and handles the road pretty well i can confirm the car was painted full as we done that and have had my mechanic confirm that the engine on the car is from the grand turisom 4 and it has had alot of work done to it but we are gona get some answers from the club where this car has been built up and after that it will be relisted for sale hope that answers your question and once we reciece the answer we will relist it cheers but as for now we are gona contact the 350z owners clubs to get some info cheers"
His Evo:
Really do hope he got plenty of money as well as the PX because the Evo is stunning!
