Hi guys had the zed out today and noticed when I put the window all the way down it made a strange noise right when the window reached the fully down position. I put the window ally e way back up and thought nothing more of it until I parked up got out and shut the door and heard a noise that sounded like the seatbelt had been shut in the door. However when trying to close the door again I noticed the window will not drop when I open the door or close and will not go up or down with the button. I am a bit frightened to even open the door as I don't want to do any damage to the window/metal when I close the door. Is there a guide i can follow to take the door apart or is there anything I am missing?when I use the switch I can hear it clicking but hear nothing from the door mechanism! Put a bit of a dampner on the day 😩 Thanks

Hi GM Thanks for your help This wire I am asking about is coming through into the big cubby above the stereo so it isn't my BT adapter. I will also make sure and have a read of the manual this weekend to avoid unnecessary questions ðŸ‘

It is proper wired in but have no idea what it is wired into? Any thoughts? Again thanks in advance

Hi guys, quick question around the two buttons on the right hand side of the speedo. Neither of them seem to change my trips between "A" or "B" or generally do anything when I press them. Is this a common fault? The buttons on the left work fine and cycle through all the dte, speed etc. Any help would be appreciated. It is currently stuck on trip "B" and has been sice I bought the car. Thanks in advance.

You wouldn't want to pick either of those two cars up on the approved Nissan scheme when the press team let them go, looks like they got a hard day!

The evo database at the back of the magazine each month states... 350z + huge fun and great value too - honestly we're struggling Not many cars they say that about.

Cool to see that! Evo magazine loved it as well. I pay more attention to what they say than Clarkson does. Sometimes I think he likes just being controversial.

Quick update, sent the cat to my mechanic last week to get the spark plugs, belts, and all the oils changed for peace of mind. Car seems to be running great at the moment. Finally got to give it the beans today as the roads have been very slippery recently. Foot down 2nd gear = me very happy. The exhaust is worth a mention, as far as I can tell its standard and it sounds great cruising around, bellows between 5-6700rpm and shuts up complete on the motorway. Couldn't be happier with it. I have a photo bucket but have no idea how to upload/link to here, maybe someone can point me in the right direction? Thanks

Thanks for the info regarding the adapter going to try it before I drive home tonight. I am using a iPhone 4s at the moment so fingers crossed it will work okay. I will try create a photo bucket account when I am home so I can show you guys the car. Went for gun metal grey and couldn't be happier with the colour!

Thanks everyone. Really enjoying it so far. How do I upload pics to the site? ZEUS the old style phone adapter doesn't seem to want to budge. There is a wire going into it drilled through from believe the arm rest. Would this be anything to do with the reversing parking sensors? I am frightend to put any more force into it but any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Whoops phone posted a bit early there. I was saying I found a dongle in te armrest which has a Nissan logo on it and says BT adapter. It looks like it needs to plug into somewhere but I have no idea where? It is an 05 get. there seems to be the old school phone adapter in the armrest which is plumbed in so to speak but not sure if this would give me Bluetooth. So glad I pick a 350 though pure theatre!

Hi folks. Hoping to pick up my 350z on Sunday. Getting excited now but would like some info on a couple of things. Where should the temperature needle sit when at the correct temperature and roughly how long should it take to get there? Is there a certain way the clutch should feel / engage to show that it's healthy? Sorry for all the questions already lol Cheers

Hi all, Put down a deposit today on a 350z. Don't collect the car until next weekend but will upload some pics when I get it home. Can't wait to experience the car properly, just hope I can handle the fuel bills. Will hopefully update in the forum often as you guys seem to know the answer to pretty much everything! Cheers.
