  1. This threads really good in two distinct ways, firstly I'm fresh in this forum and I'm really impressed this type of topics discussed, and secondly my wife and I have just celebrated our first years anniversary!

When we started our lives together money was unfortunately a big thing because I spent it like water!! Years on I have a greater appreciation, we've decided not to join the accounts because we both enjoy 'our' own money, that said if she'd like an extra £50 for fuel I'm not fussed to help out. But we don't keep track and that's the biggest thing I think, I'm never chasing up on the lent money because it's no big ish. There's also a good divide of spending too, she deals with the bills whilst I do the house and pet costs, two food shops each a month or there abouts.

Works well and I'm of the 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it' opinion.

  2. These quotes are awesomely varied, I moved up from an mg zr and only pay an extra £3 a month for my zed, in all seriousness though I neglected to read the fine print (my fault entirely) and now have to install a telemetry box for 3 months!

So obviously no hooning for me until after Xmas, with a bit of thought that's probably for the best that I don't go crazy when the roads are the worst!!

  3. I know it's genuinely comical, it so out of character for me to rush into it! It took me 6 months to find an un tampered zed that I wanted, just to be arse raped into fitting a box!!

  4. Be careful reading your policy terms and conditions guys!! I was far, far too eager to jump into my first Zed. I've just received a telemetry box, I can refuse to fit it but because I accidentally agreed to it I'll have to fork out an extra £350 to pay off the discount!

I'm not a dangerous driver, if I were I wouldn't be able to afford a Zed, but this really grips me that I'm going to be losing the fun factor for the next 3 months!!

Be warned read the terms and conditions very carefully!!!

  5. Bought my first grown up toy the other week! Took a few for test drives and was settled that a 350 was what I wanted!

Just a big thanks to the forum and lots of the threads, been reading up on what a lot of you guys have done to yours, a lot of what had been previously written came in great use when looking for my first!

Hopefully looking forward to a few tasteful mods now!
