Hi all is this car too racey looking for a 55 year old. Please be honest I can take it http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201503161793133/sort/default/seller-type/trade_adverts/make/nissan/radius/1500/model/350_z/page/6/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/postcode/tn401rs/usedcars?logcode=p
Don't be silly! I'm 25 and bumped into a much older older fella driving a nismo import, he was bloody grinning ear to ear when he pulled in for fuel! I'm going to agree with most unfortunately that it is a bit pricey but if it's burning a hole in your pocket why not? Personally I tried both garages and private sale, I went with private sale because I managed to find a genuine full NSH and it didn't break the bank, he also wanted a quick sale so I managed to knock £500 for the state of the rims and a dent in the drivers rear arch.

Just throwing this one out there guys there's potentially a mini meet Sunday night at Yarmouth seafront, aiming for around 2000. Atm seems to be about 3/4 of us that are game, I'll see if I can get the guy that spun it up to start a post about it if anyone's interested?

Welcome to the Forum..
A quick ask for help from all you fellow East Anglians. Anyone know anywhere that works on soft tops ? Having trouble with mine and booked into Smiths Nissan Peterborough for Friday (13th) very nervous of huge bill.
Just to throw a spanner in your works I've gone off Nissan garages in Suffolk, so far they've always used the 'it only comes as part of this product pack sir', I'm having the carbon brushes in the power motor fixed this weekend for £50ish, Nissan wanted £700 to do all sorts of witchcraft! I'll probably be moving all of my garage needs to a good family friend in Chippenham, helps that he's had a few porche's of his own for track days!

Is it not worth it with all the money that has been spent on it?
At one point on this forum I saw a supercharged perfect condition example going for just over 10k, that would have been an animal to have picked up, unfortunately this white ones got boy racer written all over it, I'm 25 this year and knew well enough to steer clear of it. Keep your head up, I bumped into an older gent that had a nismo import, he'd genuinely waited 2 years for his perfect car! He'd imported it himself too! Paperwork and logistics I mean.

Can somebody tell me how to put a pic on here please as I've seen a highly modified car I want and like some opinions alternatively its ebay ref number 311302580887 cheers feed back appreciated
Not even remotely worth that amount of money, ask for a dyno printout if he thinks he's got nearly 400bhp out of a N/A engine he needs looking at himself

Hi again thanks for you're replies. I think the HR is going to be just outside my price range but the 06 rev up looks a good option. I sat in one the other day, a coupe and having already sat in a BMW 3.0si I found the 350z to be much more comfortable and roomy. Loved the layout. I know the tax is £500 per year but this can now be spread so not problem. You seem to be able to pick up a pretty good 50 to 60k one for around £8000. I've not driven one do they feel fast I drive a mg zs 180 at mo but not for much longer.
Have a few in mind and play the game, I picked mine up an 04 silver with 65k on the clock for just under 6K, absolutely flawless FULL service history, just a few tiny faults that needed looking at, I.e a small dent in the rear arch and a squeak from the drivers side suspension, jobs that won't kill the bank! Appreciate your probably desperate to own one but think what that extra 2K could do if you put it into a similarly priced z! Good luck hunting, I spent nearly 6 months searching!

Not a bad idea! If I can slope away from the house I'll be down for it!
-
I'm not too far from you at all then, I'm next to bury at Honington!
-
Welcome mate! Another Suffolk based z owner! Mines the 04 in the same colour, we may cross paths!

Long time no word from me! My bad!
Just removed the first mod, if you've read in another thread I had to fit a telematics box for insurance purposes, needless to say I'll be reading the fine print, and, they can't offer me a further discount for driving style!!
I'm tossing and fro'ing at the moment, focus on aesthetics or performance? I'd like to get a decent amount of weight reduction without sacrificing too much comfort, possibly throwing a turbo or supercharger setup. This is all funds allowable of course!

That'd be good! I may be on of the ones you've spotted in Ely, my wife and I come from Soham and witchford, so pop back to her mums ever so often!
I'm currently planning a trip to Marseille using the great French alpine, once I've got more details and concrete dates I'll start posting it up

Just casually jumping onto this thread! Are there many z's in and around Norwich? I'm down the road a touch in Suffolk, the only other z's I've seen or spoken to are all owned on the station I'm on!

Once the box is out im looking for a suitable supercharger, does that earn me my man points back?

Greatly appreciated advice! Once the winters over I'll send it do a garage I'm fond of! Didn't know if it was just a common problem with a relatively easy fix!
-
Had my zed for just over a month, tried scouring the forum for an answer to my squeaking suspension but to no avail so attempting to find an answer here before I send her to a garage, basically ever speed bump or tasty pothole results in a squeak from the drivers side! Drives perfectly fine other wise apart from an occasional click when turn from stationary.
Any help greatly appreciated, even if that's just a link to a similar question.

Hasn't stopped me so far from opening up yet, but I suppose I should be a tickle more conservative! It was a genuine mistake on my behalf by not reading the small print of the terms and conditions! Only have to have it fitted for 30 days of driving!
-
Added the single greatest discovery since bread could be sliced, the most under rated piece of technology since atari's E.T. game, it's a piece of equipment unbeknown to many 'safe' drivers but widely feared by the true hoonigans, I've had to fit a bloody telemetry box to my silver stallion.... That's what you get for forgetting to read the fine print
-
This has by far been my favourite build, it is going to completely ruin my view on my own newly acquired zed!

Having had a decent browse through some of the wrapped threads quite seriously interested. On this note, has anyone used a company from Cambridge called Cambridge Hydrographics?
Would like an opinion on their work and possibly photos? Many thanks
-
Well this has ruined my future finances! Excellent thread!

Another brilliant thread, as a serving soldier thank you all for maintaining the respect our fallen rightly deserve! I'd normally be on parade but this year I've for 6 weeks in a muddy field to look forward to!
