Update time .
I took the car down to Abbey Motorsport to have an MOT and a few other things done .
First up was to have some Hardrace adjustable from camber arms fitted .
Then another alignment .
The front compression arms ( banana arms ) were changed last year but were showing signs of cracking again so some Superpro polyurethane were fitted .
Then for the big job .
The car is running dual coilovers front and rear ( not the more common front but separate rear shock spring set up ) and the rear strut / top mount is not designed to take the load of the shock and spring so this needed to be strengthened with seem welding
and a new plate to link the upper and lower section together and 2 braced plated per side fitted along with a good coat of Waxoyl .

Good Afternoon
I have booked to do the ring this year ( again car broke down on the way last year ) and last year we were at the Hotel Am Tiergarten next to the stake house .
It was very nice and in a great location and is 330 Euros but are there any better options .
We will be going in August the 23 to the 25 .
Regards

I have for sale some oem HP blue shocks front and rear that I got imported in from the USA .
Alan
Does anyone know if import OEM suspension is same as UK suspension? For a 2005/2006 car
And may be someone has a set they want to get rid of?

Just the Shocks and the Diff now left .

I have the below exhaust set up and it is very good but just a bit rasp on wot at 4000 rpm .
It is nice but sounds more angry than exotic at wot .
Dc sports 3-1 headers
Art pipes ( de cat pipes )
Miltek y pipe
Miltek center
Miltek rear box
I have been reading that a true dual exhaust takes away the rasp ?
Is this true and how does this work

So roughly, adjustable camber arm + lockout washers (ideal), then adjust toe on the spring bucket arm with either Eibach/SPL adjustable bolts + a bit of dremelling with a #115 attachment I imagine.
Or if loaded, get the SPL adjustable spring buckets
More or less .
Or give it to some one with lots of cash and say fit this please

Lock out will be better as the adjustable toe bolts can be knocked out of line .
Alan
What choice is there for the toe adjustment if you don't have 'true coilovers' - and still rely on the spring bucket ?
(ignoring £600+ option)
As it looks like the adjustable toe arms replace that no ?
Think you can still adjust this from the spring bucket camber bolts .
I change to a 1 part arm with the lock out bolts for the unused spring bucket .

Why is that for the corner comment ?
In a straight line once you're moving, yes. Round a corner? Not convinced.

I can only see the prices going up for them not coming down .
1467 Kg
300BHP
325 LB/FT
Will be quicker than a 350Z

The adjustable traction arms you put up are not tie arms! Is a popular misconception from some of the aftermarket/budget crew out there. It fine tunes the rear suspension by duality in bump steer to improve traction. The OEM arm is non adjustable but once the car is lowered you change the geo characteristics and to get the best you need this especially if you swap to bigger Tyres which accentuates bumpsteer and tram-lining.
If you have a true rear coil over setup then you got 2 options to adjust toe. Via the eccentric OEM cam washer/bolts on the spring bucket arm and if you do not have enough adjustment you can get aftermarket Eibach or SPC toe bolts/washers or similar. The second option is to get an adjustable toe arm which replaces the spring bucket arm. This is my preferred option as it saves weight and gives you a precise way to adjust toes via the radius rod.
You can also get eccentric lockout bolt/washers to prevent slip on the OEM ones.
I still recommend you get the traction arm as you aim to lower the car. Start by putting them at OEM length and adjust the length via the radios rod in small increments equally. On both sides until you dial out bumpsteer.

True dual exhausts better for breathing and power
