Why would starched tyres fail an MOT ?

Yes i guess this is the best plan was only thinking this as the car is at 89K

The car is on 89K miles and has never had a replacement clutch / DMFW .

The clutch is not slipping but with going to the ring this year i might do this before I go .

Is it best to use Nissan or is a LUK one ok / as good as the price is a big jump .

No a DE 350Z and I don't think the MOT place got them hot enough .

My car with Cobra HFC did not pass and were new but the car may not have been hot enough .

Yes very easy I also gave the rubber a go with WD-40 as it was squeaking a bit when driving .

Boot was still a bit sticky so put some plastic washers in the boot spring to fix this and make the boot pop up more .

A few more updates over the weekend I got done .

Fist up was to clean then condition the leather seats .

Then was the boot counter weight removal .

Then last up was to re adjust the aux and air con belts as there was a little slack and squeaking on start up .

It was only £ 13.00 so If it is not any good I will go back to std .

My rad fan from them was good so we will see .

I think they tweeed the map on the Uprev .

I have a friend that has said I can swap and use his std cats so im thinking this will sort it this time but thought HFC would pass

Just a engine light (not a flashing one) no O2 sensor fitted but I think the Cobra ones come with extenders as std .

The engine light came on after a few weeks of them being fitted so Abbey did something with the Uprev I think .
