  2. Mtec might be worth a look. Have run these on the rear axle for a year on track and road and I'd happily buy them again. http:// http://www.mtecbrakes.com/brake-discs/nissan/350z-roadster-04-10/350z-roadster-3-5-v6-10-04-01-10.html Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk
  3. I've run mtecs on the rear over 4 track days and had no issues. Obviously the rears don't suffer as much as the fronts but I plan to buy a front set later this year. Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk
  4. I hope not As soon as these make their way back to Stratford I'll be picking them up! Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for all the help folks! Managed to find a garage recommended on here that quoted a price similar to that mentioned above.
  6. Thanks guys - seems I'm not being offered a great price! Where was it that you get the work done Cyder? I'd be willing to drive an hour to get to a garage that had done this before for a reasonable price.
  7. Hi folks, Hoping someone can help me avoid paying through the nose for some servicing. My local independent garage has just quoted me ~£500 for parts and labour to replace the near-side rear wheel bearing and the offside rear outer gaitor. Looking at euro car parts it seems a rear bearing is ~£65 and the gaitor about £15. That leaves over £400 worth of labour?? When I asked for previous work the garage reckoned on £50 per hour + VAT, so my question is: does this job really take 7 hours? I know there are DIY guides on here but I don't have access to a 20t press and I'm not confident about getting the relevant bolts undone on jack stands. That being said, it doesn't look like a 7 hour job with the car on a ramp, so can anyone tell me if these prices are realistic? Thanks! newbie101
  8. Admittedly not a full replacement, but I got this set from Tarmac a few weeks ago and had it fitted by Fast Eddy locally in Norwich: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85095-whitelines-awesome-nissan-350z-bushing-essentials-kit-220/ Consensus seemed to be about 6-9 hours work to fit everything minus the rear diff bushings (depending on the corrosion etc). I had the rear shock bushings done too, which added a few hours to the job but definitely needed doing.
