1st day I bought mine, it was running empty - nearest petrol station ..no super!! gah ,,, Stuck £26 in her and drive her home > 58miles

Light came on as I pulled on to my drive!! - I did "test her" a little ...

Yeah mine uses too ... 03 JDM 'DE - as she's not my daily, I haven't quite figured out how much - but I do check her each time (ish) and have had to top her up a smidge - maybe 1/4 ltr over 3>400miles - "spirited" ... though, I was getting an oil smell in the car and I figure I may not have gotten the dip stick home correctly when I checked her over/buying and used a bit there...

 

Sounds high, but seems like your checking it regularly ... I've seen higher visc mentioned in a few threads, and thinking I might give that a whirl.

yeah, I get a strange jingle/rattle too, but on the back left - mine is almost like the ariel is hitting the side of the car (more like the window,glass sound) - AND, worse .... it's intermittent!! ... I'll find it, if I have to rebuild the whole car ... I'll find it!!

then, it appears, slowly but surely, that Farnborough is swamped with them!!! :) I must have been walking around with my eyes shut!!

I fell out with my Ins Co because they quoted me £600 FComp .... then they revised to £400, I still wasn't happy - but I took it, as I was stood on the forecourt with my new car waiting to drive her home and I am inpatient like that!
