  1. Still heard nothing from Nissan but you know what they say "No news is good news," I don't think that is relevant here though. They did come out with that old chestnut we will contact you later today and guess what they didn't so I called them and they told me to call them again tomorrow.
  2. Well I am going to see what they say tomorrow when I speak to them, I have an invoice and all it says for the model is 370Z Nismo and does not specify a year but has the date from July on it.
  3. I am going to add to my story which only adds fuel to the fire, I contacted the dealership Monday once they were open after I found out over the weekend that someone on another forum had ordered a 2015 370Z Nismo on the 15th and received it one week later on the 22nd. They looked on the computer and said that my car was still on back order but if they put in a new order they could have one in a week, wtf? Problem is they would have to cancel my current order which means I will have to pay the new price for the car not the original price which they had agreed on. So for me to get this at the 2014 model price they emailed Nissan to confirm that this is what they agreed with the dealership and guess what it has been two full working days and they haven't responded delaying the process still further. I have called them several times and they always say they will contact me but never do but they told me to ring them at lunchtime tomorrow if I have not had a response. You know what also made me smile was when the salesman says we want you in your new car just as much as you want the car, truckin' really?
  4. No don't want to cancel but I feel like it sometimes but there is nothing else like it in this price range that actually stands out. Was looking this week at the Porsche Cayman but for 40k you get nothing apart from Xenons at this price. Also looked at the BMW M235i and the Subaru Imprezza STI UK, apparently the Jaguar Coupe is a good car but that is above my price range and I don't think I am old enough to own a Jaguar quite yet. I am also getting a good deal on the Nissan despite all the messing around and not knowing. At the moment I am waiting on dealer support emailing the dealership to confirm I can have the new car at the same price as the old.
  5. Well spoke to the dealership and a guy in sales and there might be light at the end of the tunnel and I could be getting a car soon. Notice I said might, I will have a better idea tomorrow if they call me back.
  6. Desira Nissan in Norwich has a 2015 Nismo in the showroom in white if anyone is interested for 38k
  7. I have just seen it mate, not a happy bunny me. Be interesting to find out how he got a 2015 model so soon when the dealership and Nissan UK can't give me any information when I am likely to get a car and I ordered a car more than 3 months ago. Do you know what is even worse, he ordered it on the 15th October and got it on the 22nd October, Nissan you are a joke. I am going to write a nice letter to Nissan UK this weekend.
  8. Just been on the Nissan UK website and the Nismo has gone up by £560 to £37575.
  9. Yes I am sure it will be worth the wait but to say you will get the car in 2015 is a little bit ambiguous, it could mean Dec 15. Sipar69 I am getting the car for a good price as they are honouring the price I was going to pay for the 2014 model.
  10. Latest update from Nissan Customer Services yesterday after speaking to the dealership is "You will get your new car in 2015", really?
  11. My posts come across as dismissive due to the fact that Nissan has messed me about in regards to my original order, they have £2000 of my money and I have no car to show for it or any delivery date anywhere on the horizon . Posts are like text messages and emails as they can be easily misconstrued and not always clear to the reader as demonstrated above on my part. Thanks for clearing up any confusion
  12. GIXXERUK, why are you reposting? The comment is not clear in the first place. Dealership ordered in Vibrant Red for the showroom and what forum (link?) As it still doesn't answer the question In regard to a customer ordering one.
  13. Ekona, next time you speak to them ask when customers will be able to order them from, the dealership I am using seem to know sod all
  14. Available to order maybe but I cant see the new cars going to the customer till in the New Year. in the showroom http://www.automotiveaddicts.com/47841/2015-nissan-370z-nismo-review-test-drive I can understand that because if you can't see the car in the flesh how could they sell any. It would be interesting to see when they fulfil the first orders. Obviously you can tell I am a little bit annoyed by this whole old car, new car thing.
  15. Available to order maybe but I cant see the new cars going to the customer till in the New Year.
  16. Nearly got an M235i myself but settled with a Nismo instead. A good choice might be a BMW 330d, pretty fast with 254 BHP and a 0-60 time of 5.6 secs.
  17. That's a 64 plate Nismo Z at least you got yours Zac, nice cars by the way.
  18. I'd want the black one ~ look's much better with the red accents. Yes I think I am liking the black car more now on the newer model as the outside will also match the interior. I originally went with a silver car to keep down costs as I had a set budget for a car but now I have waited longer this budget has increased.
  19. These are the side images of the silver and black cars from the Nissan USA website, I think the black car is going to look nice. The red one looks good but that might not be a colour option for the European market and I don't see the point of the red trimming as it does not stand out. Ekona: I would be truly shocked if one of the new cars turned up in the UK in the next couple of months let alone in two weeks time
  20. You might get to drive the Ver. 1 but when did they tell you could test drive the 2015 model?
  21. For some bizarre reason it won't let me do a quote on a reply. Anyway, yes the wait is killing me so you could imagine how annoyed I was when they told me they are cancelling my original order. I am at the moment still getting a silver car but when I went on the US Nissan site to build the 2015 Nismo it looks really nice in black with the red trim. I like the new cars front bumper and seats, don't like the wheels as much as its predecessor and I wanted the big wing as without it the new car looks to sedate. I think that I am going to be waiting a long time for this car but you never know I might be the first to get one in UK/Europe and get my photo taken to boot.
  22. Well as the title says I ordered a silver 370Z Nismo on the 24th July so I thought I would call the dealership to see if they could clarify when I would receive the car as they said it would take around 16 weeks. They preceded to tell me that they had received an email from Nissan saying that they did not know when I would receive the car as they were waiting on the new car codes to come online So it appears that I am now getting the MY 2015 facelift model not the car with the BGW When I get the car your guess is as good as mine but I don't think it will be anytime this year. However they are going to honour the price I was going to pay for the old model unless it goes down of course. Am I happy about it or not? I am just not sure yet
  23. The BMW I am taking back next week so I am not out of pocket then buying a cheap run around for six weeks or so till the Nismo is ready and hopefully get back what I paid for the cheap car.
  24. Louise have you spoken to the dealer to find out what is happening they should know by now? My BMW has got to be back at the dealership before the end of October or I will lose money on it so Nissan want to pull there finger out soon, going to give them a call at the start of October to chase as come mid October and still nothing I will be seeing what BMW's are in stock. Well that was a stupid last comment as I should just sit and wait for the car as I am actually looking forward to getting it.
  25. Well I hope it is worth the wait and no I didn't test drive one so buying it blind so fingers crossed I won't be disappointed, I am sure I will love it though. Dependant on an offer of a longer contract or not in November will depend on how long I keep it for.
