  2. Sunday 27th August - Duxford Summer MotorFest (Interest Thread) This thread is initially to Gauge interest with regards to attending the Duxford Summer MotorFest. As Duxford also now run an event in the Summer - I thought I would guage interest. If you would be interested in attending this event please put your name down. We need 10 cars minimum to book a club slot. Entrance has increased this year to £12.60 per person (or £6.30 for child entrance). Which is slightly discounted on the normal entrance costs. Duxford tends to be very relaxed about cars coming and going, with some people just spending a couple of hours and then leaving. I know some events are very strict about when cars are allowed to come and go. Entrance with the car - gives full access to the Museum - if you haven't been recently they facelifted the American Museum in 2016. Are you Interested? (Please put your name on this thread) 1. Lesmo & Cazza - 370z Nismo 2. APOFW - 350z 3. Fuku Fuku - Jag F Type 4. Gav C - 370z GT 5. yank44 - GTR 6. milanored - 370Z GT 7. Misty-Ki - 370z 8. 9. 10.

Currently we have 8 cars attending the event - and I have spaces for a further 7 with a couple of last minute drop outs. Anyone in Cambs, Herts or Beds - Fancy a trip out tomorrow. Just let me know and I will PM you a ticket and information. You would be really welcome, Any questions I will do my best to answer them. Its £10 per car. Attending: 1. LESmo & Cazza - 370z Nismo. 2. Jeff & Mrs Fred - 370Z GT 3. Mr & Mrs Shrekkie - 350Z GT 4. MarkJZA70 - 350Z 5. Gasitup - 350z GT4 6. John_K - 370Z 7. jr6yam & mrs - 350z 8. Misty-Ki - 370Z In 2016 the 25th Kimbolton Country Fayre and Classic Car show organised by the Rotary Club of Kimbolton Castle in partnership with the Sporting Bears was by any measure a great success. Over 5,000 visitors enjoyed a spectacular array of entertainment and activities including Camel Racing, the Sealed Knot, the Galaxy Swing Band, the Lindy Hoppers and of course over 900 Classic cars. In total £18000 was raised for a range of charities including Burns Camp, Samuel Pepys School, HemiHelp, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, Ellesmere Opportunity Group, Autism Concern, Holly Ward (Hinchinbrooke Hospital), Mission Motor Sports and several other Rotary supported charities. New this year were model car racing and the Twinwoods Adventure Race room’s Ford Focus simulator and Knowles Dairy (a unique display of vintage dairy from 1940’s to the 1960’s). Dream rides were more popular than ever and a flyby of a Hurricane from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fully met expectations. The Fayre was opened by Sir Hugh Duberly, Lord Lieutenant for Cambridgeshire and attended by both the current and last years Rotary District Governors. Further Details on the event can be found here or on Facebook here The 2017 Fayre will be held on the 9th of July 2017, gates open for general admission at 11.00am. Classic cars for display arrive from 9.00am.
  4. Spotted tonight just pulling out in front of me at about 7pm tonight only noticed the distinctive front splitter at the last second. Storm White
  5. Was behind a 350z Azure 350z along Kings Hedges and Histon Road this evening (Just after 7pm) - sure we made a lovely pair - did give you a quick flash of the lights as I dropped onto the A14. Not sure if its anyone here?
  6. It seems virtually all Nismo's are White. There was one of our Neighbours who had a black 370z back as a 10 plate but I think that's gone. But I nearly never see any 350's or 370s - I think I have seen more GTR's in Cambourne over the years. We will have to have a mini meet one day in Morrisions car park
  7. Its a small world. I think I have seen from a far once few months ago - I do love Red Zeds Live in Cambourne (Lower) and travel back and forward to Cambridge early in the morning (before 6am) and back at 7pm at night. So perhaps just missed each other. had the Car for 18 months. So perhaps see you around again. I saw a Black 350z going towards Cambourne at around 11:45am as well Not sure if that's a local car. Used to have a Azure Blue 350z from 2005 to 2011.
  8. Hi Was me coming out of the Eltisley junction saw your lovely car from a far. Big Salute
  9. Spotted Storm White v2 Nismo yesterday on way to Silverstone ELMS Race and in the car park I noticed it (I did flash). Plus a Midnight Blue with DRLs on 1198 near Caxton this afternoon - we both waved.
  10. White one was near Lazy Otter..... About 5:30-5:45 ish
  11. Spotted and waved tonight. 1 x Silver 370z Cambridge Science Park- Heading towards CRC 1 x White 370z A10 Heading Towards Cambridge - Around 1 x Black 350z A10 Heading Towards Cambridge - Around Did flash at both 370z's - only caught sight of the 350z at the last moment - sorry
  12. Sorry mate must have completely missed you this time. Was I being pushed off the road by some chump - may have been another morning? Will need to look more closely next time. But a Cambridge meet would be good sometime when the weather gets better and the days get longer.
  13. It was a Christmas Party/Gathering. To the left of reception there were a few and mine was furthest left in the corner in a double space. I guess you were at on of the other party's. We were in the Rockingham Suite.
  14. Believe it or not - there were about 10 350's/370's (2 x Blue Jag's) an the GTR in the Kettering Hotel car park in various places. You should have popped up and said hello.
