It is only bits of hard plastic with 3M adhesive, would not recommend it. Will probably lift in places and possibly leave behind a sticky residue upon removal.

2 New replacement wheels arrived yesterday, all paid for by Qwik Fit!

I thought the 'tapping' noise that disappears when the clutch is pressed is a common 'trait' of the zed..? Mine has always done it, the zed is known to have a noisy gearbox....?

I forgot to mention, the other day my oil light came on for a split second as I was cornering.

When stopped the pressure was around 10 psi, which is the lowest I have seen it which worried me. Has been topped up in the last week or so..

Usually upon first startup in the morning, the zed will roar to life. A nice blap to wake the neighbours then the usual idle.

The past few days it has been rather tame, starts up with no 'blap' just a rather lazy, quiet, non blappy sound.... Almost as if the initial ignition and idle are all one sound, if that makes sense........

Was just leaving the industrial estate and spotted it, my mum was wondering why I was getting so excited and why I pulled over to get a picture..

It almost sounds to me like the kid fcuked up and was trying to hide it by paying you out of pocket, but then his boss found out about it and has suspended him. If that is the case, the manager is a dick.

That was exactly my thinking.

The saga continues...

So today was the day I was supposed to be collecting my money from the lad at qwik fit. I went along as planned, there was a guy at the desk that I had not seen before (guessing it was the manager), I asked to see lad that was meant to be paying me.

His reply was.. 'he has been suspended and will most likely be losing his job, and therefore is refusing to pay the money.'

He then took all my details and said he will be calling the regional manager to organise payment from Qwik fit themselves.

I got in my car and headed home and was kind of feeling bad for the guy, I mean everyone makes mistakes.............

THEN, when I got home, my dad said, 'did you not get my email, the lad phoned and said he cannot make it because of a family emergency and will have to do it on thursday.'

He had obviously called to try and prevent me from going down there and hearing the truth from his boss.

I just do not know what to think now......

Got mine at 18, one month before my 19th birthday. Got it insured on my birthday with admiral for £1400 fully comp.

I had to use Kwik fit when I had a company car supplied through lex.

 

They were @*!# and always had a bad attitude.

 

Never been to a Kwik fit where the staff didn't look and speak like they were on day release.

I have learnt my lesson, will be going there to collect my money and that will be the last time I step foot in there!
