  1. Have not been on here in just over a year or so.

Might remember me being the lad that got a zed at 18 :teeth:

Thought I would check in and let everyone know I'm still alive and just insured my zed for my third year :) (on today my birthday, actually paid more than last year due to the tax increase, paying £800 @ 21 3 years ncb) Had absolutely no incidents in my two years with it, no problems at all and still far too attached to the car.

Although I have noticed recently it does use oil rather quickly :surrender:

  2. On a sunday morning around 10am a few months back, had just gone round the corner from my house, Im a relatively slow driver anyway but am always especially careful around the 'neighbourhood'. Was probably going 25mph in 4th gear, producing a loud, but low burbling.

There was an elderly couple walking towards me, both started shaking their heads and the women started flagging me down with her hands as if to say slow down

  3. man, I'm in chichester everyday, and never get bloody spotted. I might spot my own car soon.... haha

Lol I have never been spotted either. I should probably drive mine a bit more

I spotted your car in Whiteley village shopping centre quite a while back, I only recognised it as it was for sale a few weeks before hand, was one I was looking at before I got mine, must of been when you just got it??

  4. I seem to have a knack for creating entertaining topics...

I knew the other driver was being a complete and utter idiot but didn't want to say exactly that as I knew he or she would not own up, it was not racing, just joined on a slip road behind said driver, he ended up being a few hundred yards ahead. Stopped at some traffic lights behind the driver, he then completely booted it down the high-street (wheel spinning and @*!#), I was turning off right, he kept on going and going, must of hit at least 70mph down a public high-street

  5. So why did you go right if you had right of way as I'd have expected the truck to be on your right.

If you were on the right hand side of the road on a two way stretch as your post suggests you must give way to oncoming traffic. Not saying she was in the right but it sounds like you were on her side of the road.

Edited, curb was on my left

  6. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!111

A lorry was parked on the opposite side of the road to me, half on the road half on the pavement, my side clear so I had right of way.

I was clearly coming down at about 20mph, passed the cab of the lorry, then this absolute melt of a woman in a civic decides to keep coming, absolutely no room at all for 2 cars to pass.

Had a nice high curb on my left, to avoid this melt I had to sacrifice my pristine alloys. Next second there is a thud and some scrapping.

I stopped in shock, absolutely booted my foot to the floor in neutral to let the melt know I am rather pi**ed off, she just stares at me, I left in a rage, now I am sad :byebye: :byebye:
