  1. Hey man, I did this, it's simple, I left the washer nozzle there, just removed the wiper arm and motor.

Its about 10 10mm bolts and a bit of elbow grease.

To go Halfords and buy a 25mm rubber grommet to fill the space left by the wiper arm.

The hardest bit is removing the internal boot plastics.

I think I documented doing it in my thread.

Dewipered mine a while ago, looks far better and sportier, never had an issue in bad weather plus I use rain away just in case, mines black so you dont notice the rubber cap.. do it!!...

  2. Great start to the day, check my post no sign of a crimbo card .. . but the West Mercia old bill not wanting me to feel left out kindly sent me a speeding fine!! then I get to work, find a nice (albeit tight spot.) get out of me car and window opens half way,,, after 10 minutes squeezing in and out of car window up and down, by now it of course starts to drizzle, fed up :rant:I leave it open, in to work cup of team, log on to Z Forum for info, and window all sorted!! :yahoo: Thank you! ,,,

All I need now is advice on how to fix the £100 fine and points,, or of course £85, half days off work for a telling off  and £85 fine…. Oh well, have a happy Christmas all..

  3. Getting mine wrapped 2moro. Got the tints done today71a4e280db86a7a77b2bb9d274895945.jpg

I'm really unsure about getting tints, I have to reverse down a slope into parking spot, is it much harder to see out the back when reversing? Also, have you thought about spacers? Put 25 all round, love it I think it looks better, is that's possible of course 😉

  4. Thanks for the comments guys,

Quick update - the roof wrap was done as a temporary trial to see if I liked the two tone look (which I am very happy with) so I'm having the roof painted soon, keeping it gloss black but think I prefer a painted finish so when she goes into painters for some other bits (hopefully before Xmas) I'll get the wrap removed and roof painted, will post some pics when she's done

Look forward to seeing it, let me know where you get the paint job Im tempted to get the front done stone chips etc.

  5. As brilolmaster said, you'll definitely find it quietens down. I was a little worried by the drone between 2500-3000rpm at first but now it's almost non existent. Absolutely love the system and I'm so glad I went for it

+1,, unless of course you find yourself in a underpass/tunnel, drop a gear, bit of throttle,,it sounds amazing..

  6. Hi, I’ve just noticed the red light flashing on dashboard when I’ve locked the car, is that what you had? Last couple of trips I’ve inserted the key in case it’s the battery, did changing the battery get rid?

    Cheers

As far as I know, the light is supposed to flash when the car is locked - it's just telling you the immobiliser is active. tattooandy67's was coming on while driving, so that's a different issue.

Can't say I've noticed it before, will try charging the key and or changing the battery, thanks all for advice/tips.

  7. Is this thread a windup???

Man eating chocolate, scoffing carbs late at night who does no exercise wonders why he's putting on weight!?!?

No takeaways, sweets, chocolate, crisps etc just eat regular normal meals, WHAT NEVER!!!

Exercise for 30mins+ a day :teeth:

Don't eat past 6pm, especially not heavy carb based meals Would have to eat in the car then on way home..
