I just dropped the car down with the wheel on managed to squeeze under the car to try undo it and it's still spinning! I would of thought with the weight of the car surely that should be enough load,no? Absolute Pain, really stuck :/

Right guys, I'm replacing my lower arm on the front passenger side, the bushes in mine were totaled. Ended up picking one up with new bushes in, problem is, trying to get the old ball joint nut off is proving harder than I thought, the bolt started to but now is just spinning, I've tried using a jack to put load on the ball joint, but nothing? It seams people online suggest impact guns? My question is would a electric impact gun do the same? As I can go buy one, also any other ideas? Kinda stuck and the misses is tired of me using her Z4 :L Cheers guys

Hi guys, I've got a alpine headunit installed in the Z, lately ive been getting a clicking noise coming through the speakers, it happens whenever I touch the breakers, or when I turn the headlights on, I'm kinda stuck on this one?? Cheers

So it just got very serious, just went to drive my car, and nothing car won't start, tried to plug the diagnostic machine in and there's no power to the port.. With the ignition on if I press the throttle I can't hear anything, should I be able too?

Just received nine today, now I received the unit itself and the lead which is suppose to be specific to the Z.. Now this lead doesnt fit my car, it fits into the pedal plug but not the other part, can anybody confirm if this is the wrong/right lead as the company I bought it off swear blind it's the right one.. Cheers

Tail happy, yes haha.. I've still got the same wheels on from when I bought the car.. They are square set up.. I did run 20" wheels for a little while and vdc stayed happy, they just weren't to my taste.. I'm thinking I'll go 235 fronts and 255 on the rear..

It sounds unreal davey! I dunno if it's because mines a convertible but the bassy noise at low revs is quite annoying.. Not sure which way to go atm

Does anybody know how much the standard silencer off the oem mid pipe actually deadens sound, thinking I might use this and make a complete custom single exit system..

Yeah I thought I'd probably end up getting a silencer.. £70 is spot on! Haha, anybody have any suggestions on a certain silencer? It's a shame because on full throttle it's easily the best sounding car I've owned! Just I think the neighbors aren't going to be to pleased tomorrow when I leave for work at 6 in the morning lol

Has anybody ever used one of these? I'm just wondering how much difference they actually make, I found a k1 exhuast exhuast near me for a unbelievable price, so couldn't resist it.. Coilover is perfect mate been over and over it haha. When you say it would be obvious what do you mean? It's almost like a rattle other than a knock, but is definitely suspension related as can hear it when bouncing the car like..

Hello peeps.. So I managed to blag my Christmas present off the missis early this year!! Coilovers After installing them I am now getting a clunk/rattle from the passenger side, almost as if something is going to fall off, at first I thought of the banana arm but thought I would replace the drop links as they looked abit old and crusty tbh.. The knock is still there, the only thing is, I had no noise before hand and now I do, is there a way that installing the coilovers has killed off whatever was left of the banana arm bush, or should I be looking elsewhere?? Right, this will be a mod for pure giggles haha, but Has anybody fitted a omex limiter, or something similar, I'm happy with the install, and happy to do it myself haha But has it been done by anybody on here? Cheers peeps
