  1. I bought a bolt from the local steel merchants. 1/2" iirc and then redrilled the crossmember to suit.

If you google it its a known issue but they didnt respond to my emails to get the right sized pin for the bush.

If youve got a photo of the pin you can tell easily if its the right one.

Dont get me wrong though. Its still noisier even with that issue solved. Nust not as stupidly horrendous. Iys not helped that i also have a lightweight smf that invreases noise

  2. Hsd are rhe only decemt ones in your list that ive experiemce of. Ill admit I havent been in a car with Torquen ones yet but im skeptical of how good the damper could be at the price. Happy to be proven wrong though.

I run Tein monosports and theyre fantastic. Dual flow valve really soaks up the sharp bunps on country roads. But only the upper end Teins and ohlins offer this atm as far as im aware.

However theres a key line in your post i think everyone has missed. You want the same ride height as your eibach springs but more softness? All coilovers will be a harsher ride and be the opposite of what you want. And if ots for country roads and youre sure of coilovers then ones with a dual flow valve are the ONLY ones you should consider

  3. Fao paddy on previous page - my cheap aftermarket discs had to be taken off after 1000miles as they were causing horrendous judder and had gone 'weird' they looked like theyd been at the bottom of the ocean. Cheaper isnt always better.

But aside from that just LOL at asking the traders to recommend what to do.

Its like having dirty windows and asking a double glazing salesman whether they should be replaced or not

  4. LOL yes Im being serious

Static negative camber increases will not wear your tyres inside edge any quicker that you would notice or be able to tell - unless the camber is so retarted its lifting tread off the tarmac (like dubbers do).

Honestly, hand on heart its true. If youre wearing the inside edge excessivly compared to the rest of the tyre its toe related and not camber B)
