Id bin the bc's even if they werent making a noise can we bash budget coilovers in here? Lol
Spacers or equivalent offset wheel doesnt matter either way. The moving of the centre line of the wheel in relation to the hub will affect the scrub radius which can have a detrimental effwct on handling. Youre always better, if handling is your goal, using adjustable arma to push the whole hub out

Bennet: if theres a few of us up for it I have some contacts in plastic factory so could easily get a batch routed out but Id need some glass to get a template...... Lexan isnt expensive are you worried about the black border? Im not personally...
What are these patent front fenders?!
If youre at 1380 with fuel and driver I will ptobably get under my goal as i dont have sc or anything to worry about
-
1300 would be nice, ****ing hard to get to with a cage though

Bennet, imo these only really work when welded on, not bolted and I believe thats what the jap houses do as well

Frame front end..... Lighter you say..... Hold headlights as well? I coyld be interested in one as my support is cracked and i vould easily adapt my splitter to mount to a frame
-
Rear hatch doesnt need to be thermoformed so Harry and I have done some scouting and reckon we could diy the rear for £45 a window quarters, im thinking like wise, dont need to be thermoformed and enough lexen to do both sides would be £20 a car...... Only the side windows need to be the expensive ones
Glad there is a few of us all on the same page with building PROPER track cars though

Im with Mark, the design on the MM shroud is absolutely awful. When driving at speed you dont need the fans on, only when stationary, and the mm shroud blocks a lot of the rad airflow. Awful thing, just looks blingy......
If the fana are the issue why not mount a pair of puch fans to thw front of the rad? That way theyre well out the way.
Also if youre struggling temp wise surely an intercooler is first port of call on that setup rather than a rad?
-
Im juat waiting on some parts and building an induction kit for mine thats 3.5inch diameter all the way through and will sit the filter in front of the rad in the cold airflow from the fronf of the car
That with a remap will help performance - remap needed as maf housing will be bigger.
