I had a silver RX-8 and engine bay way red (see below) sorry it's not a 350z! But I'm going blue on my orange 350z now! 2nd pic Hope this helps and isn't too late....

As you can see, my upper plenum don't look too great, it ruins the look when you open the hood! I was wondering if this can be painted and given a chrome finish? I don't think I will be doing the paint job myself as I want I to look good but is it safe to paint it and give it that chrome finish? I'm happy removing and fitting it myself. Has anyone else had this done and at what cost and how long did it take start to finish? Thanks :-(

The only downside in my opinion of getting a 57 plate is the tax! Other than that I love the dual intakes. I usually go up to Norwich so might even see you around.

I used to own a 2005 RX-8 then changed to a 2003 350z! Drive it every single day and never get bored of it!

Dunno if you finally got an answer but here's my input. Check your brake disc dust shields! Like mine the can be very rusty and touch the rear of the brake disc making that noise. That's what mine is doing anyway. £60 each from Nissan and fairly easy to chance. Hope it helps!

Yh it really does help I dunno why I didn't sign up to this sight when I first got my Z! I'm trying not to go too carbon fibre mad but it's a bit hard it looks so good haha.

Cheers I'm doing my best! Also have a carbon fibre air duct to get fitted soon. Only fitted the intake today. Bit tricky getting to the breather pipe, so I took off the throttle body. Checked out the forums first tho and it suggested disconnecting the battery so I don't get any warning lights. All sorted now with no dramas!

Hello everyone, bought a 350z about 5 months ago. It's a 2003 UK GT. Don't want to keep it stock tho. I've done a few minor things since having it; Tinted rear windows Tinted rear lights Plastidip the badges black Samco radiator hoses in blue Carbon fibre air diversion plate Secret weapon R intake Neo Chrome pipe (anyone else fitted one I've been looking everywhere but I think I'm the only one???) Not done too much to it yet but I'm getting there! My next things to get are tyres as I'm getting close to legal limit. But after that will be the exhaust, oil cooler kit, radiator, Remap. Probably in that order! I've got plenty of pics of these mods if anyone wants to see or know where I got them feel free to ask. Not very mechanically minded but I enjoy doing all I can on the car myself and I'm staring to get the hang of it to be fair. Anyway that was just a little intro and glad to be a member.
